How to prepare for PromptCloud interview for freshers?

I am preparing for my interview with PromptCloud.

I have taken part in a couple of mock interviews so far. However, none of them were similar to the actual interview. Also, since it's my first time, I don't have any experience in the field.

So, can anyone please share their experience in the same? Would be really helpful if you can share some of your own experiences too! I'd suggest having a friend who has interviewed in the past to be present during the interview. I've been in many interviews and I've noticed that they often take the interviewer's mind off the candidate by talking about the company culture or the work environment and what the interviewer is looking for in a hire. It's a good idea to ask a lot of questions on these things and try to probe them for more info.

I'd also strongly suggest that you try to read up on as many things as you can about the company/job before the interview and then try to practice the answers in your head as much as you can. I'm also a huge fan of listening to podcasts (or something) while I'm driving and then trying to talk yourself through the answers. I do this especially with technical interviews.

I have an interview on April 15 for a job at PromptCloud.

They're located in Vancouver, BC and their website looks like this . I would love to hear from some of you who have interviewed with them! I'm a PHP developer, so I will probably be writing PHP, MySQL, and maybe some Python code. What kinds of things should I look for in the interview?

I can't really say I have any experience with the company, but I'd like to get an idea of what they might be expecting from someone in the position you're interviewing for. I will likely have a phone interview before the actual face-to-face interview.

First I want to start off by saying that a job at PromptCloud is NOT a no-brainer. You have to be very well prepared. In my case I have known about the company for 6 months and I had the interview almost 2 weeks before it occured. That being said, I was prepared. For the interview I actually didn't want to prepare too much, because I want it to be real and just wing it. I was told that it was a 2 hr interview and I was expected to walk in with notepad and pen. I figured I had time to prep so I just spent a few minutes thinking about my goals and where I wanted to be going after the interview. Before arriving I went over my goals again and made sure I didn't just throw my resume at the interviewer. The first person I interviewed was the guy who I thought was the hiring manager, but it turns out it was a junior recruiter. After walking into the room he said "so I hear you have a job offer", I responded that I don't have a job offer. Then he told me to introduce myself and start telling my goals. He told me that the most important thing is that I was honest and direct. It's okay if your goals aren't always attainable, but you need to be open and honest about where you want to go. He told me that it was a tough market to find jobs in, but people are getting hired. I don't know what my next steps are, but I plan on emailing the hiring manager after the interview and asking for a follow up conversation.

And, if you're wondering why it's spelled "Prompt" and not "Predict", I'll explain that's a typo. The original name was actually "Predict Cloud", but that was a lot of work to update the domain name and email addresses to "PromptCloud". So, I just kept it as-is. That mistake will be corrected.

Do you have any software for hiring? Yes. For years now, our recruitment software was a simple Excel spreadsheet that we maintained. It included everything from employee demographics and job descriptions to salaries and references. The spreadsheet was very efficient, and did exactly what we needed it to do.

But, if you give PHP, ASP.NET, Python then your manager will not hire you for this team and you might have to apply for other jobs. But, this is not a bad sign. All we suggest you to work in IT-based projects and learn new things and then apply for another company.
