How do I remove Chrome extensions blocked by administrator?
I have noticed that a few weeks ago Chrome was auto-blocking a few extensions (such as Google Translate and AdBlock) in the browser because they were "invalid" or "not trusted". I checked and I had this set up on my computer several times in the past, so I should have access to these extensions. But these extensions are not showing up in my extensions list. When I try to re-add it, it shows up as not trusted again.
I also have other browser extensions disabled for this browser, such as AdBlock Plus, NoScript, and Google Chrome, so I know that they are still there. I am using the standard settings for the browser, so I cannot figure out how to remove this setting.
Is there something I can do from the command line? Is it possible for me to get access to the extensions? How can I reverse this auto-block? Is there a way to see if this is going on with other browsers? Answer:? Hi John, thanks for your reply. I found something interesting in the Chrome settings (), but I am confused about the last two lines: After you have added new extensions, if an administrator has disabled the extensions, you might see an error in the Extensions panel when you attempt to add an extension. You can try to reinstall the extension, or contact a Google support representative.
This error will be resolved automatically if you install the extensions again. For more information, see the help section.

How do I unblock extensions blocked by administrator on Mac?
I'm having a problem with the block list on Mac.
I have 10 extensions blocked (by the administrator) and can't unblock them.
When I go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions, I see my 10 extensions are blocked. But when I click "Unblock All" button, it is not unblocked.
How can I unblock them? There are two possible reasons extensions might be blocked. 1) It might have been added by Safari in a previous session that you've since closed. In that case, it's stored as part of your Safari preferences. If you want to unblock them, you'll need to remove them from that folder, then restart Safari.
2) It might have been installed by another application. In this case, it won't be listed in the Safari preferences, so you'll need to ask the application to unblock it.
How do I enable Chrome extensions blocked by administrator?
I've just upgraded to Windows 10 and have enabled the 'Chrome extensions blocked by administrator' option.
However, many extensions I want to use are now blocked and I can't install them. How do I enable them? Unfortunately, the way Windows 10 handles extension installation has changed. When you first install an extension, it is listed as disabled. However, it is enabled after a Windows restart.
You can use the following steps to turn on the blocked extensions: Restart your computer (or close all open programs and windows). Open the Start menu and select Run. Enter CMD in the Search box and hit Enter. Type the following commands in order: powershell Get-ChromeExtension -All. To see more information about the command, type Get-Help Get-ChromeExtension -Full or type Get-Help Get-ChromeExtension -Examples.
