How to configure Squid as https proxy?
I am trying to get squid working as an https proxy with the free version but I cannot get it to work.
When I set up https the connection times out. I am using a windows box. It would seem that the config is not getting set up correctly. This is the content of my squid configuration file
global. #LogLevel debug. /etc/squid3/squid.conf httpaccess allow all. httpsaccess allow all. What should be inside the httpaccess line? If you are using squid 3.0.2 or later, you can use
Httpaccess allow all # all traffic allowed. Httpsaccess allow all # all traffic allowed. You don't need to do anything else. Squid 3.4 also supports:
Httpaccess allow all. Httpsaccess allow all. Which has the same effect.
