Does VPN work for Facebook?

We have a few tips for getting started with Facebook as a VPN.

Let's jump right in! When you open a Facebook app, you may notice that Facebook is running in the background, updating your news feed or notifying you when someone has liked one of your posts. This isn't a problem, but it can be a little confusing at first. If you haven't opened the app and you go to your phone's home screen, you may notice an icon for Facebook on the top left side of your home screen (see image below). The icon that you see on the phone will also be there on any devices where Facebook runs in the background (a computer, tablet, and/or laptop).

If you click the icon for Facebook that you see on your phone's home screen, you will be directed to the Facebook app. If you just press your phone's home button or click on your phone's home screen, you'll be brought to your Facebook News Feed. The Facebook News Feed is the default way to view your friends' Facebook statuses and to post new statuses.

You'll also notice that there is an icon for the Facebook app on your mobile device's home screen (see above image). The icon will also appear on any other devices that Facebook runs in the background.

To get the benefits of a VPN for Facebook, you'll want to connect your phone to your computer via USB. After you connect your phone to your computer, you can go to your device's home screen (by clicking the home button or by pressing the home button on your device) and from there, you should be able to open the Facebook app. Once you've opened the Facebook app, you'll want to click on the top menu bar (just click on the top bar if you are using the desktop version of Facebook, or click on the hamburger menu for mobile). From there, you can access the Privacy Settings menu, and there you should be able to uncheck Access Facebook from work.
