How do I download FortiClient VPN for Windows 10?

Downloading and installing FortiClient VPN for Windows 10 is easy as pie.

In this video walkthrough I show how to download FortiClient from the internet and how to install it on a computer running Windows 10: How to download and install the latest version of FortiClient on Windows 10. First, click the Start button, enter FortiClient in the search box, and then press ENTER on your keyboard. A list of applications will appear with results similar to those below. Scroll down or click the arrow button at the top of the screen and select the program you'd like to install from the list of applications. You can view a description of the software that will be downloaded and installed by clicking the description.

Next, click Next to continue or Cancel if you're not sure. Enter your FortiClient username or password (if necessary). The first time you run the program, it may prompt you for a username or password. If so, enter the appropriate information and then hit ENTER on your keyboard. Then follow the prompts for your operating system and choose a location where the installation file will be created.

If your computer has several users, make sure that they've all had an account created on FortiClient before starting to install the program. Once the program is installed, if you are using a single-use account for the FortiClient program, you'll need to re-enter your details to create another account.

To download and install the free FortiClient software from the Internet, right-click on FortiClient and then click Properties. Click the Uninstall button and then click OK. Note: When downloading and installing the free FortiClient, you may see the error 0x80070643 ("The specified module could not be found.").
