What Chrome extension detects text from image?

As a part of my web project I use an extension from Google Chrome.

The main purpose is an easy way for non-designers to insert their designs on websites with the help of images. So, users can insert their own designs that make the website look like they designed it themselves.

I also want my users to be able to customize their design in many ways. They should be able to change fonts, colors, placement of design elements.

I've already created an extension and registered it in Google Chrome Web Store - see the image below. A description of the extension is below: The extension displays an image from the webpage as its background. When the user clicks on the text above the image, that text appears on the bottom of the page with style like that on the original image.

Users are also able to choose between left or right alignment (from the top of the image), and the text size. After finishing editing a design they can upload it to the server with a single click.

This is quite easy to accomplish, but the user can change the text color, fonts and position as much as he likes without actually putting the text on the website. They are creating a look-n-feel copy, not contributing to the website's content.

My question is - can Chrome detect and prevent this behavior? Is there any way for me to know it so I can do something about it? Chrome DevTools have two new flags for this sort of thing: User agent can check for element styling by: CSS selector. User agent can check for element styling by: Styling API. These two are meant for different use cases; the first allows you to verify if your browser supports some functionality based off of browser features - like whether or not your browser supports CSS selectors, while the second is meant for general use cases.
