What is the virtual intranet agent in Aruba?
The Virtual Intranet Agent (VIA) in Aruba is a web based application. It allows users to manage and view information from several web applications in a central location.
It has 3 main parts: Users are redirected to VIA when they attempt to access a web application or web service that is not available on the corporate network. Once redirected, they are shown a list of web applications and web services that are available on the corporate network. They can click a web application to access it.
If they choose a web application, they are given options to install additional applications, configure how the application will behave on their network, or view and download the application's client certificate.
Is an Aruba a VPN?
I like using a VPN for its extra protection, but I didn't know if Aruba also counted as a VPN.
Does anyone have any experience with this? So you don't want to be a victim of DDoS attacks when you're using your laptop in the hotel room, right? Or when you're trying to log on to your Netflix account at home? Then you need a VPN. The easiest way to get a VPN is to buy one. But if you're short on cash, you can do a free trial of a VPN service for 30 days.
The best free VPNs we've found are CyberGhost and IPVanish. We think you'll like them.
Aruba is not a VPN. You'll be happy to know that Aruba isn't a VPN. In fact, it does more than just that. It's a wireless network access point (AP). It lets you connect to the internet through a public or private wireless network.
So it's a router. But only a router. You still need to buy a VPN separately. If you connect to a hotel's Wi-Fi network, you won't be able to bypass censorship or the likes of Netflix or Hulu. If you're just trying to connect to the internet for surfing the web and downloading files, then a VPN won't help you.
When you're just connecting to the internet through a wireless network, a VPN is unnecessary. But you might need one when you're using your laptop or phone in a public area, or when you're connecting to a public Wi-Fi network.
You can set up a VPN service at home or on your laptop and use that when you're at the hotel. It lets you connect to a network over Wi-Fi.e. And it lets you connect to the internet through a Wi-Fi network or a cellular network.
For people who live in places with good Wi-Fi coverage, it's a convenient and easy way to connect to the internet. The only difference with Aruba is that it's a wireless network access point.
