Can I check my overall usage on Iphone?

How do I see how many hours I have on my Iphone?

This is pretty easy, just use the "Settings" option, and then select "Phone" from the menu.

The next screen will look like this: The Phone icon will allow you to see your usage for your phone and/or your data plan. The bar on the left shows your usage by day and the bar on the right shows your usage by week.

If you click on the "Data Usage" tab, you will be able to see your usage for all of your apps on your phone.

Can I check my overall usage on Iphone?

(In the settings there is information about charging etc)
You can't. Apple doesn't know your charging usage, unless you're using their USB-charger or something like that. I think it's the first time that happens to me. And if you're using an adapter that charges from AC-power, there's no option either. (At least, not on iOS 5.1)

If you want a general overview you have to wait until the phone is full, which means until you've used all the apps. You can use my app: . L-usage/id426529073 and see if you're within limits. It displays how much battery you're using now, which apps are using most of it (since today) and estimates your usage for the next 24 hours. That will give you a good overview if the usage is fine. But I don't see any option in the settings that could display overall usage, right? (At least, not on iOS 5.1)

I'm pretty sure the OP asked for app usage in the settings as an alternative to checking his battery state. I'm also pretty sure this has been answered before but I couldn't find the thread. Just a guess here.

How do you find how many hours an Iphone has been used?

How do you know if it is a true Iphone, and how do you get that number so it matches the ones that are on there?

If your on the main Apple website, it should tell you at the bottom of the page. If you were to check your serial number online, a good place to start would be: To find out your phone's serial number, go to Settings > General > About > General > Serial Number. The serial number is usually printed on the back of the phone.

Now to see how many hours have been used, go to Settings > General > Usage > Manage Usage > All Apps and then scroll down until you see the app that says iPhone hours. That will tell you how many hours your phone has been used.

Thanks very much! This is what I used to do in iTunes to find out how many hours, then went to to see that my iPhone has been used for 6 hours. MacRumors attracts a broad audience.
