Is Norton free with Xfinity?
Do I qualify for this on top of it.
We currently have basic but want premium.or should I go with another company?
Thanks. Brian. Thanks to the guy for replying! This is what happens when you don't do a search before posting. So I see where that would apply.I was wondering if there's a way to sign up for his deal.
I just answered you for you Brian. I have no problem with that. The question of not doing a search really irks me when somebody has spent more time researching it.
I didn't know about that. Thank you. I already got Norton Free with my Roku box since I have Amazon Prime. So I guess they already cover the fee to me. Do you think this is worth it for a home user like myself? I would say yes! It's awesome. I did not know of this and I'm looking into my current plan for next year so now I know to ask. Thanks a lot.

Is Norton Antivirus actually good?
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but Norton Antivirus keeps telling me "Error 0x2A" - I had it reinstalled recently with no luck.
No viruses have been found, and other than that I've not changed any settings, I've also not installed anything that could cause a problem. Do you think this problem has something to do with malware, spyware or trojans? Can anyone help me get this sorted out?
Norton antivirus is OK. It's best if you have good backups of important files. And you should be more aware of pop up windows asking for personal information from websites you visit because when you return to it there can be malicious code. But, it works well for me, so if you can fix your error code then it should keep your files safe.
A few months ago, my laptop didn't start up with Windows 7 or 8. I called in a PC tech because it happened to be raining that day, and so I got drenched (I hate that!). That's when he asked if I'd taken my battery out of my laptop. I said "No, why would I take my battery out? It's working perfectly." He took it out, recharged it and gave it back. The next day, the error occurred again, this time it lasted about 5 minutes before it gave that error. A few days later, my mother bought me a laptop with Windows 8 (she got Windows 8 for free from a friend who got it for free from Microsoft. Windows 7 was working fine on it until last week. Again, it gave the 0x2A error. Since then, I've reinstalled Windows 8 twice and haven't been able to solve the issue.
I thought maybe the error code had something to do with the weather, so I opened the laptop outside under the sun. It worked perfectly for a couple of hours, then it started freezing and crashing. I have now reinstalled Windows 8 twice, and am currently waiting on a third attempt.
I'm getting really annoyed because I want to use Windows 8 but I'm having a hard time due to these errors. Why are they happening? The error code 0x2A has various meanings depending on the context and circumstances. It may point to corruption of your hard disk, to your graphics card or even to your wireless network card.
