I don't think so. But if we had an exploit that we didn't know about and were not sure how widespread it was, the response wouldn't be much different. There would be more questions than answers until it was resolved.

The only thing that can be done right now is to try to keep track of the situation and try to find out where this issue stems from and fix it. The more we know about the problem, the better we can get at finding a solution.

I'm not sure if there will be a message with more information soon, but if it happens again, they'll definitely keep us posted. The good thing about it all is that they really didn't say they'd be shutting down the site for 3 months or anything, so it's nothing worse than it was before. It's difficult to track this number. I don't even know if it's possible. Some no-ip people use the free accounts which have limited time or space. Others pay a year fee or a monthly fee for what's called an unlimited account. Those people are not affected by this. There is also the number of people who use the no-ip.com web site. I don't know if it has it's own database and number of people though.
