How to activate Selenium VBA?

I am new to Selenium webdriver. I just tried to create a simple project in VBA and have installed the latest version of Selenium IDE (ver.2.0.1). It works well, but there is one thing I couldn't understand.

While using Selenium IDE, every time we make a change in our program it gives me an error. I made the changes and saved them, but then I wanted to run my program again so I need to re-open the Selenium IDE first and then select "Run All". However, after that, I still get an error because it says that "the process was terminated unexpectedly". I would like to know how to remove this error? Also, while we are debugging our code, does Selenium IDE runs at the same time and if so, how do I close the IDE?
Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much! Try running a Selenium Test as a script instead of through selenium ide. This way you don't have to open the ide every time.
