What is the website like YouTube for school?
I'm in high school now, and I really like the website youtube.com because it doesn't ask for personal information in the videos it has, and makes them easier to find for others to watch too. My English teacher told us to put our name on our homework, though. It is just a little annoying sometimes. The website has also been helpful in finding different people with same interests (ie the video about the new Spider-man movie) for me to get help from when I have problems. However, some of these videos that have been posted and can be easily found by anybody aren't very educational for me at the moment. I just want to make something I can't find elsewhere to help people know my hobbies and share my knowledge of things. What websites could I use for school instead of YouTube?
Hey guys! Thanks for being such cool teachers here for all of us! I have one more question for you. I am a teacher at a public school in Pennsylvania and we just finished our spring teaching assignments (which includes summer) this past weekend. We started working together a few months ago and our first assignment (which required me to read 5 out of 10 books over 5 days) worked out perfectly to learn everything I needed to know. We even started going over our schedule and planning with our students (which you taught us to do last week!) and things are going great! Then, the school board decided to replace me with someone who works for them. When he came, he wanted to work alone so they offered him 2/3 of the time I had planned. But since I don't need to be there, they want him to take me completely off the schedule. I feel totally rejected and angry, and if I wasn't so worried about my job, I would feel bad. The other teachers are saying that they felt like I didn't trust them enough as adults. I would appreciate your advice on how to handle this. Thank you very much!
Hi there! Thanks for your reply! Yes, I did get the feeling that you didn't want me to make any changes (like adding extra time or asking for additional books or writing), but that was my impression. My class did very well this past week with our schedule!
Is there another site like YouTube?
You see so much rubbish on there and yet its one of the most watched. I think there are more "people" on youtube than the amount of actual people in existence.
You're right. If it's that bad, let's fix it. Let's fix it now, before it's too late.
I think in a short time we'll be able to get people the content they want and need at the right price for them. I think that there needs to be a lot more "content moderation" on Youtube, as we currently don't have enough people doing that. I mean what's the point of having such a large site if it's moderated so poorly by its own workers? As for the current quality of Youtube videos, the problem isn't that you can't download videos from a site. The problem is that you need to have an internet connection to get those videos. This means that not everyone has access to all the videos. The videos themselves also need to be very good quality and the uploaders need to put the effort into making their videos good enough for the people who do have an internet connection. This means that it's quite possible that people with an internet connection have more access to videos than people without an internet connection. It's like this because of the reasons that Viddler has already mentioned.
There's also other ways of downloading videos from Youtube, however most of them don't work as well as Youtube downloader. Another solution would be if Youtube had more content moderation, but even then you'd still have the problem of people downloading videos. Also, most of the people who do a good job of content moderation aren't really willing to do so because they don't want to get paid, since all of their money goes to Youtube. In fact, Youtube does have some form of payment for content moderation, however it's not worth paying, since the content moderators are paid very little.
Youtube has this problem because it was originally meant to just be a place for people to upload short videos. But now the site has grown to be such a huge site that the original purpose has vanished. But Youtube still has to maintain the site, so Youtube has to find a way to stay afloat while growing. It can't just keep maintaining the site, and that's why we have all these problems with the quality of videos on Youtube.
