For those who are happy with their unlimited plan, why would you think they will just drop it? This is because their current unlimited plan still includes streaming video content. The point is that there are other ways to get Hulu through wireless, but you'd be limited by your provider's deal with Hulu. With cable, you're only limited by the amount of channels you're allowed to watch on your service. With T-Mobile, you're limited to a number of channels, and depending on which service plan you have, your viewing may be limited as well.
