Who is the owner of DTube, Inc?

I mean this company has a lot of users, many projects and even though it was registered in the USHow do I know who the owner is? Can someone give me a basic report? Thank you in advance. DTube, Inc (or DTube LLC) was incorporated in California on August 11, 2025 by Tyler Bisset, Daniel Fong, Danilo Santos, and David Lozano. In March 2025, Tyler Bissett resigned as a director and DTube, Inc. Became wholly owned by DTube, LLC. The remaining five directors are Danilo Santos, David Lozano, and Daniel Fong, who reside in Houston, Texas, as well as Josephine Zhang, who resides in California.

A non-profit organization, DTube, Inc. Does not file taxes. In 2025, DTube, LLC had a total of two employees, with a chief executive officer and a vice president for technology.

How much money is invested in DTube, Inc. The exact amount isn't publicly known, but it's in the hundreds of thousands. There are three primary investors: Tyler Bisset (1.2M), Josephine Zhang (1M), and an unknown angel investor. That's it.

DTube has more than one million users, and is expanding rapidly with plans to add new features and content. So if you would like to know more, you'll have to subscribe and read more. It would be nice to know what your own project is doing.

How much do you earn, and in what?

And how much is left to make on DTube once you have worked your way up from coder to head of engineering. You might be earning in crypto, or you might be earning in another currency you prefer. Let's assume in this post that you earn in BTC. You can figure out your own rate by making your own assumptions.

1) Most DTube users are not DTC (or BCH). We estimate less than 20% of users are actually transacting in DTube. So how much are people leaving you with? We use a formula that tries to get a realistic average for all of your viewers so it's better to focus on the total viewers than the actual number of users.

2) Some new DTube features will increase the actual DTube user count even more, like the DTube Chat/Livechat feature. This increases potential payments to the network. This also increases the cost of our servers (because we'll need more dedicated resources to power the growth). It's a good thing but is it too good to be true? If it becomes too big then it could threaten other projects and hurt the DTube ecosystem and make some people cry.

3) It takes money to run this service. While we're always thinking of ways to cut costs, it may also require even more funds in order to maintain quality and scale in order to keep up with the growth.

4) It's time consuming to run a video network. The infrastructure that makes DTube possible is both very expensive, and involves people who want to make DTube as high quality as possible. But in order to do it the best way we can the amount of time that needs to be spent on it increases dramatically as more revenue is taken away. Some of the best work is done after hours on the weekends or in off days of a project, and then people just expect you to stick it out. It's not always easy but it is necessary. Because of that fact, we sometimes have to delay things that wouldn't normally be a priority.

5) Every DTube user gets an income when they visit DTube, watch a video, comment on a video, and share links.

What is DTube used for?

DTube is the social network that everyone needs!

It's a place where you can meet new people and share your ideas with others. At DTube, everyone is treated equally because we believe in free speech. We don't make money from content creators and creators share what they create for free. Our community has many different personalities and we all create freely.

What is Dtube.social is the backend which handles the social part of the DTube platform. It's our backend system for chat, video uploads, and sharing. We're also using it to host forums and communities. If you want to become a moderator or admin one of our community sites, then you can apply at DTube.

How does DTube handle censorship and moderation? DTube uses different kinds of content filters, such as content ID filter, block list, and auto flagging system. They are not perfect because they can't read your mind, but they are much better than the alternative. Content ID filter checks if a particular media file is copyrighted content and it works very well. If it gets a hit, it will mark the media as a copyright-protected media and it'll disappear from your DTube profile for the rest of the time.

Another method of fighting with copyrighted content is to use a block list. With a block list, you can add certain content you don't want to see, so the system will automatically block it whenever you try to watch it. The third way is to use the auto flagging system, which is used to block and remove certain content based on user preferences. Our moderators at DTube.social can manually approve the videos for you when you request a block or an auto flag.

Who decides what's safe and what's not? DTube and DTube.social are private companies, not the government. The government may request our help in removing copyrighted media, but they cannot control our content. There are three ways a creator can file a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) claim. First, you can give the media a content ID and we will automatically remove it. Second, you can send a message to our moderators via DTube.social and we will check it. And third, you can give us a manual flag.

Org website currently has more than 5.1 million registered users. To date, the majority of registered users are from Brazil, followed by the United States, China, France, Germany, and Canada.

In order to be eligible to register for a DTube account, a user must confirm their email address, submit their profile photo and answer a security question. We don't currently have a way to verify that users have the actual email address they say they have. We also do not store users' password hashes or the plaintext passwords they enter. That means the maximum number of logins an account can have is the same as the number of unique email addresses registered. At this time, we estimate that approximately 1 million people are registered on DTube.

How many videos are available on DTube? At the time of writing, there are approximately 4.5 million unique videos (ie uploads with a title) on the DTube platform. The number of videos is growing by an average of 13% per day, with more than 400,000 new videos uploaded every month.

How many searches are conducted on the DTube website? Searches are usually conducted on the searchbar located at the top of the homepage or on the searchboxes embedded in the navigation bar on the mobile app, where users can search for specific videos. Searches per day across DTube platforms have increased significantly since October 2025 and continued to grow through June 2025. However, searches on DTube.org peaked in December 2025 and has declined gradually since then.

Do you store IP addresses? No. At this time, we have no plans to store IP addresses. The only IP information we capture is for statistical purposes.

What kind of traffic does your website receive? DTube.org and DTube.pro websites have been visited by more than 10 million visitors every month since July 2025. The total traffic has increased significantly since the beginning of our journey and continues to grow year over year.

How much advertising space do you sell? We don't currently have any plans to sell advertising spaces on our website. We will be focusing on continuing to serve and grow the free open-source video platform.
