Where are my quick memos?

How do I delete a QuickMemo?

From a menu bar command of the type "New" click on the "QuickMemo" icon at the bottom left side of the menu bar.

An interface resembling a window pops up; go to "Edit" and then "Delete".

How do I create a new QuickMemo? In the menu bar again, but this time choose QuickMemo->"New". Why are my memos not showing up when I switch to different applications? There are three possible causes: 1) the application in which you store QuickMemos has changed and it hasn't yet notified your system to re-index your recent QuickMemos, or. 2) your recent QuickMemos are in an application that hasn't yet loaded your system's index files, or. 3) your recent QuickMemos are in an application that has changed and not yet updated it's version number, which tells your system to refresh the index file. If 1 is the problem, go to the application and ask it to re-index your QuickMemos. If 2 is the problem, restart your computer or shut down and reopen your system. If 3 is the problem, quit the other application and wait until the index files re-read from the disk (it will take about 30 minutes).

Why doesn't my QuickMemo appear when I open it using ALT-M-? ALT-M-O opens QuickFind. There is an application called QuickFind which will index QuickMemos that you have written on your system. If you start QuickFind, you'll find all your recent QuickMemos. When the dialog box comes up, make sure that the check box for remembering these locations is checked. When it is, you can easily get back to them by going to the menu item QuickMemo->QuickMemo.

Why does QuickMemo give me an error message of type 1203

If this happens when you go to the QuickMemo toolbar, click on Edit menu and then choose OK, QuickMemo does not find the entry you specified and closes. This is probably due to a corruption in your .quickmemos directory, caused by any of the common Windows tools. Try doing an 'fsck', a hard-disk repair utility.
