Why is my Windscribe not connecting to my Android phone?

I have a brand new Verizon Xfinity WiFi modem and a Netgear N600v2 router.

I have a Windows 8.1 laptop with a Verizon wireless dongle and a rooted android phone. I have connected my phone to my laptop and have verified that my phone can see the network and I can browse the internet. My windscribe VPN client connects and disconnects but I am unable to browse the internet through it. I have set the windscribe client to connect to the network via the router. I have tried connecting to my phone via my wireless dongle and via my windows 8. I have tried setting the phone to connect to my phone via wifi instead of 3G. I have tried every single option in the windscribe client but I still can not get my phone to connect to the windscribe network. Any ideas what is wrong?

Thanks again. Hi.e. I don't have any experience with Windscribe. However, I do have experience with most VPNs. In your case, I think your problem is that you are trying to use Windscribe with a mobile device when it was intended for desktop/laptop use.

Windscribe works on all operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) and all types of devices (phones, tablets, computers). You should not be having this problem.

How do I create a Windscribe VPN?

Create a new account by clicking on Create A New Account in the upper right hand corner of your Windscribe Dashboard.

Make sure that you click on Accept All Terms when creating a new account.

After you have created a new account, you can create a new Windscribe virtual server. To create a virtual server, click on Create Virtual Server from your account in the upper right hand corner of the Dashboard and then complete the settings for your new virtual server. Be sure to give your virtual server a meaningful name and a corresponding description so that you can easily identify it in your account.

How do I connect to a Windscribe VPN? Once you have created a new Windscribe virtual server, it is ready for connection.
