I've read your comment on the other thread, and I'd like to add a few things. 1) I think you are confusing Netflix with the free trial on DVD's. I get the free DVD's every month through my local library. I don't know how many other libraries do this, but it is a very common one.2) There are a couple of other free ways to get DVDs through Netflix.

First, you can get free access through Amazon if you buy through their store. If you have a credit card through them, you can get DVDs for free by registering your card. For example, I got a free set of DVDs that way. If you don't want to register, you can still use their store, but it will cost you money to do so.

I think that the above is a good way to get DVDs through Amazon, but you have to pay a credit card fee. Second, I think that you are correct in thinking that you can get free Netflix through someone's cable or satellite company. You can find out what providers offer this service by calling them up. For example, when I lived in Colorado, I found out that Dish Network offered free Netflix through their service. I don't know if this is true in your area.

99 a month when there are other people out there that cant afford it but they still want to get Netflix. I could get it for free but thats only if my roommate doesnt have any friends and we cant watch anything together.

You don't need to pay anything to get Netflix. You can just use your phone as a hotspot, and you will be able to download it to your phone.

How do you do that? I will look into that tomorrow. I hadnt thought about using the phone.
