Why does it say no streams were found on Stremio?

I'm using the latest version of Stremio.

You will not be able to access this feature because we don't have any videos that are on Stremio. I know it's a bit annoying and frustrating, but you'll have to wait until we have some content on Stremio. That's ok. Thanks for your support, I'm looking forward to the day when we will have content on Stremio! The reason I'm asking is because I have a friend who can watch my videos but I can't. When I do the search, it says no streams found. I contacted Stremio support and they said it's because I have no content on Stremio. But I'm wondering if the friend I mentioned has any content on Stremio?
Stremio is still very new. We are trying to get as many videos on as possible. If you click on the video you are searching for on Stremio, then it will show you all the available streams for that video.

This is my second try at posting this. If you try this, you'll see what I mean. I tried both an old video (one from 2015) and one from today (last week) with the same result.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. What do you mean by "no streams found"? Do you mean it doesn't return any streams for that search, or that it doesn't return any streams for that search, but no streams were found?

Is Stremio still working?

I know this has been asked before but Stremio is completely dead and has been for a long time now.

I recently discovered that the last update to Stremio was in November 2024, which makes me feel like I've been using a dead app.

I have been searching for alternatives to Stremio for quite some time now, but I've yet to find anything even close to it. Does anyone know if Stremio is still available? I tried googling it but came up with nothing, so if it's still around somewhere please let me know. ? Stremio has been sold and the new owner has discontinued support for the app. The old web site is still available for use.

I found this app called "Stremio" on my phone. It looks exactly like Stremio and has all the same features. I'm not sure if it is the same software, but I'm pretty sure it is.

I did a lot of research on the app and found nothing that I could find a difference between it and Stremio. It is the same software but the new owners have closed the old forums and there are no developers to answer any questions. You will need to use the new forums and I don't know how much help they can be.
