1 Reply. You can use to find your IP address if you set up port forwarding to forward port 80 to an address other than your public IP address. However, for testing purposes you need the other way around: use the router's IP address as the public address, and forward the port to your internal LAN IP address. I think that this is the most direct way to test that port forwarding works.
