If you want, you can also activate 2-factor authentication, but we don't recommend you to do this if you don't need it. Fill the form with your details and click Confirm.
Why is torrentio not working on Stremio?
.
I have installed it using this guide
So far so good, but the movie I am trying to access online is not listed by torrentio. It shows that movies are missing from the site and when I try to download it from one of the sources, like Prime Video or Netflix, it also says the file is missing. Any ideas on how to fix this?
@Nekron I didn't expect it to work that soon so I never tried a live-stream before. I was hoping that it would give me full access to all my existing torrents but that's a bit optimistic because it seems that only some (probably the ones I uploaded) works. Is this the case? Thanks in advance for your help.
BT, no idea atm, sorry. Tried it at Stremio's test stream but got an unknown error message. And yes, all torrents worked fine via Bittorrent, but it's not streaming them online. So I'm quite sure it's probably the streamer you mentioned, or possibly the network I've connected to. I had to use a fast connection, I was just hoping I'd get at least some kind of warning that they could be found and I got only "no known sources" You need to make sure you set the correct location for where your movies are stored. This is usually different than where torrent files are located. If you have a library, then it could be in ~/.config/remmina/torrentio-remote/. If you have movies/videos directly in /media/username/TorrentIO/Movies/, then try setting .torrentlocation=/home/username/.config/remmina/torrentio-remote/Movies
I got the "downloading" bar to appear after the initial screen asking me where my movie was saved. It's been at 100% ever since with no progress and that's over 2 hours ago. Any ideas what to do?
@Fantagor No idea, never tried the downloader myself. Last download status: 00% at 11:58:18. Remaining time: 22 min 00 sec(s). Downloaded length: 45 KB. It might be a problem. I would start with checking your configuration.
Why doesn t Stremio work anymore?
Stremio does not work anymore. If the streaming app is on your computer and open, please try to close it (and possibly logout of Stremio) and restart it again. We recommend you to create a new profile or try another website to watch movies or TV series.
How do I start watching something? You just need to make sure that your WiFi connection is at least 2 bars strong. Then just click on a movie on your Stremio. If you're watching on a mobile device, you'll have to find a WiFi hotspot or download one of the available VPN servers to play on Stremio. Click here if you need help with it.
Why can t I change server and language? Go to the main menu in Stremio and click on the Options link in the upper left corner. Enter the username and password you use to login to Stremio and then go to Settings in the main menu and select the desired country.
After you've done that click on the green arrow in the upper right corner to start the process. It should finish very fast as you should already be logged into Stremio. Once it's done, there are no other steps to follow.
How do I delete a video file? From the web site, go to the Movies menu. Then in the bottom left hand corner there is a white dot. Click on that button. From that list click on the Edit button. This will take you to the file management screen in which you can delete your videos. Go to the folder where your videos are located and click on it from the list. A drop down menu will appear, just select Remove and you'll be taken back to the main Movies page.
What if I forgot my username? If you don't remember your username, you can find it by clicking on the three horizontal lines (called a "hamburger menu") and selecting Login from the list. On the screen that follows enter your email address and password. You should be asked to verify your identity with a confirmation code, enter this and then select Login from the Hamburger menu in the upper left corner. Once in, your username will be listed for you.
Are my TV shows on there? TV shows are available on Stremio with the same method as movies. Go to the Movies menu and select TV Shows.
What is alternative to Torrentio?
We do not want to compare Torrentio to another download manager. We have tested many different ones over the years, and the best one for us is Torrentio. Our test results:
Torrentio was our favorite choice and we use it on a daily basis. We have not heard any complaints about Torrentio. In fact, the support team helped us in a very professional way when we encountered a problem.
Torrentio is free to download and use. In summary, if you are looking for a good, safe, and reliable download manager, we strongly recommend Torrentio. It is free and will work on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
It is our number one recommendation. Why we chose Torrentio. When we created this guide, we decided to focus on the most popular and trusted download manager: Torrentio. We researched all of the top download managers and picked the best one. We wrote a comprehensive review of Torrentio. We are experts in the field and have been using it for several years. We know that you will not find another website with as much knowledge and experience as we do. In the end, we chose Torrentio because it is the best for our users. We recommend you use it, too.
We also want to be honest with you and tell you why we do not recommend LimeWire or uTorrent. What is Torrentio? Torrentio is a free and open source download manager. It is the go-to choice for anyone who wants to download files fast.
We are going to explain how it works in detail, but in general, it is similar to uTorrent or BitTorrent. You upload files and share them with others who are interested in your files.
If you are a newbie to download management, you might be wondering if there is a need to use a download manager. After all, you can just download a file from the Internet using your browser.
However, there are a few advantages to using a download manager. For example, some websites are slow. As you know, a download manager is like a fast VPN that allows you to bypass firewalls, ISPs, and proxy servers.
Another reason to use a download manager is because it is safe.
