Which VPN is better than Surfshark?

What should I use for a VPN on iOS?

The short answer: The best VPN for iOS is Surfshark . If you want an iOS VPN app that works as well as it can, use Surfshark. In my own experience with using Surfshark on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (and others), Surfshark never let me down.

In my opinion, it has all the features of a good VPN in one easy-to-use app. It's perfect for occasional use, and it comes in two handy sizes. The main interface includes controls toggle your VPN on and off, as well as to change the logging options and other settings. You can change the icon (for added visual distinction), you can add a background image, and you can even create a custom "Live Wallpaper" a wall-sized image that runs as a live slideshow background in your Lock screen.

Surfshark does away with the complexity of other apps by keeping the main interface focused only one thing: connecting you to whatever country or region of the world you are traveling to. It also has a few additional nice touches. For example, when it's on (as in my own experience), you can drag a slider to adjust the performance, and you can toggle on/off various security features like DNS over HTTPS and WebRTC.

It also does some cool stuff with its server setup. For example, if you select "Connect to an ISP in US or UK," it will automatically turn on your connection to one of many servers that use encrypted tunnels (or connections) from one of those countries to hide your connection. And it can do so without letting people from outside know about it (so no IP address leaks or anything).

You can also set different rules for different devices, like turning on the connection but having it run much slower when the iPad is connected. It's awesome! If you're using an iPhone X, then the extra space for these tweaks is very welcome, as your app takes up quite a lot of space. The two main apps that people use for their VPN are called ExpressVPN and NordVPN. Both are great. Both work like any other app, so the only real difference is the price and what country they operate in (which, unfortunately, is pretty irrelevant in today's world).
