Why is ExpressVPN blocking my internet?
ExpressVPN is a very popular VPN provider.
A lot of people seem to use ExpressVPN but there are a lot of complaints out there that you are limited in where you can go or access certain sites. ExpressVPN seems to have a lot of issues but these are very common. The majority of the time, they will say that they want to prevent something that they deem inappropriate. While not everyone will want to be put in a specific category or labeled an adult, there are still problems with that for a lot of people. They will also label your device as a device with adolescents and they will also block content that is deemed inappropriate.
You see, ExpressVPN uses DNS servers for their clients. The DNS servers, which I talked about earlier in the article, are the third-party companies that direct your requests to the correct websites and also help in speeding up websites. That is what ExpressVPN does and that is where you have an issue. ExpressVPN uses DNS servers that are not authorized for that website. In this way, they make sure that it won't be blocked in the future. Most of the time, they just look at what a site is capable of doing and make sure that they are approved. I have never seen them block anything, though I believe there were times in the past when they did. It seems to me that people just didn't like it or were frustrated by it. For example, ExpressVPN is not the best VPN provider for torrenting. They don't support it so you have to find another one. It isn't much different than using a proxy server instead of a VPN. With a proxy, you can't really keep any information from being saved in your browser because it's a separate software and this software doesn't work the same way. You can try to find a proxy here but I am not responsible for anything.
That is what ExpressVPN does. They don't want their users to be limited in what they can do and do online because it is very common for someone to say that they can't browse certain websites when in fact, they are able to. To resolve this, they use DNS servers which don't belong to the website. This isn't supposed to happen but I think there are a few clients that can't handle the redirects or something like that.
Is ExpressVPN still trustworthy?
ExpressVPN has been in the VPN market for quite a while now and has been growing over time, but is it still worthy of using?
I personally think so, here's why: Why I Think ExpressVPN Still Is Trustworthy! Their VPN is completely free. When you install ExpressVPN you get a free 30 days trial, with all features available to be utilized. There are also different plans with varying monthly costs and a few one-time fees, so you have access to everything on the free plan which is nice. If you choose to purchase monthly for anything else than the free plan, you can choose any plan but keep in mind you pay for what you use, so don't overuse the 30-day free trial otherwise it could cost you a lot more in the end.
You Can Choose Anywhere, Any Device and Access All Types of Network. Another excellent aspect of ExpressVPN is that it does cover every single need and option you would ever want out of a Virtual Private Network. You can connect from as many locations as you want for free because they always offer unlimited bandwidth. So yes if I owned my own business or was an enterprise I would definitely choose ExpressVPN. They offer a wide variety of locations where you can connect and have access to which I like especially for enterprise solutions like a hotel, business or school, etc because then I won't be limited. Some other locations you can connect to if you want which is ideal, and there are some extra features that are added so you can enjoy a private browsing environment while connected on other devices. It's almost like being away from home but still be connected when you want to go surfing, watch a movie, look up something and still be able to do it all when you are remotely connected.
What Type of Network Connection Does ExpressVPN Suitable for? The first thing that will strike you about this VPN is that it has some excellent locations around the globe, such as: USA (including Alaska,Hawaii and U. Territories) Canada. UK
Europe. Australia. Netherlands. Singapore. Hong Kong. South Africa. Germany. Ireland. The list goes on and on so the variety to cover anywhere in the world and with your service.
How can I tell if ExpressVPN is not working in USA?
One of the advantages of ExpressVPN over most other VPN companies is that it is based out of San Francisco (where, yes, you can actually see the fog). The US doesn't block everything ExpressVPN does, and because the service is based in the US, the service should work in every country. But still, there are instances when things go wrong.
To get an idea of how ExpressVPN is working in the US, I created a list of countries where the company lists it as having access. For each of these countries, I searched for an ExpressVPN IP address (they're public), and then verified that I could reach the site through the IP address. If a site is working for me, I'll leave it at that. If not, I'll update the entry accordingly. If I discover a problem, I'll let you know!
I found two problems with ExpressVPN on the list it's not working in China and it's not working in the United States. I was really surprised to see that ExpressVPN says it works in China. I had to search some of their forums to find out that, at the time of writing, it's not working. But it will work after the next few hours. It's a pretty big black eye for ExpressVPN. Why say it works in China, and then not work for anyone? I contacted ExpressVPN but they didn't answer my question.
If you're wondering why I'm so concerned about ExpressVPN being blocked in the US, it's simple. I am in the US, and I want to use ExpressVPN, but can't. I use this to read the news, download movies and TV shows, and keep up with other sports.
There are plenty of VPNs that work in the US, but what makes ExpressVPN so different? Its special ability to reach people in 190 countries around the globe without having to enter into any agreements with those countries. It's nice to be able to use one VPN company across multiple countries without having to use a different VPN company in each.

What is the ExpressVPN controversy?
The popular VPN service ExpressVPN has recently been criticized for refusing to censor the Stop Censorship film series on its main website.
The company has been working closely with YouTube and Vimeo over the past few years in a quest to promote free speech online. In 2023, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings even referred to the fight against global censorship as his mission at the company.
However, last month the ExpressVPN team found themselves in hot water after YouTube decided to remove their ads from the Stop Censorship series. Why? Because the series contained copyrighted content, according to YouTube. In an attempt to resolve the issue, the expressvpn.net website was pulled from Google Search. After that, Google decided to ban the ExpressVPN app from its Play store.
All this was done without the expressvpn.com website being blocked on any of the big platforms. The company has now published a lengthy statement via social media explaining the whole affair, including the response by Google. The official answer has not satisfied everyone, however. So what happened?
The story starts with a series that has been making waves around the internet for several years. It is part of the Stop Censorship project, which is funded by the International Partnership for Freedom. The group is a joint effort led by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Mozilla Foundation, Google and Vimeo. The program aims to combat Internet censorship and free speech restrictions worldwide.
If you want to support the Stop Censorship project, you can do it here, via Paypal. Just make sure you use the correct option. The campaign will receive a small fee from each transaction, so we recommend you make a donation.
The 'Stop Censorship' project had been running for over a year when it turned its attention towards the recent YouTube crackdown. To coincide with the #MeToo campaign, the films were put out on YouTube, Facebook and Vimeo.
