Who owns Mozenda?

That's the question I've been pining for most of the week. It's not a question I've thought much about in the last few years, but suddenly as I was winding down, it popped up.

So it was time to take a look. As it turned out, Mozenda Primeur is founded by 50 Cent and several of his business partners including Mike Cruz-Witting, 55 Cent, Shavo Odadjian, Russell Simmons, Terrence Rip Simmons and Derrick G as well as Mohamed Aslam from the Mugella family. Yahoo deserves some credit as well, although the story mentions the company's origins on Navi.com, which were organically grown.

So it's 50 Cent, among others that have no business ties to the area or western medical care. There's a lot to digest here, so let's start at the beginning. The movie Aikido comes to mind.

Everyone has a story of being misunderstood. Aikido takes that a step further and says that the nature of being misunderstood can be extraordinarily powerful - if you learn how to use it.

For those that know me personally, perhaps I am performing a public service by bringing awareness to this strategy. Because if you don't have a name recognition machine at the ready, a strategy for making money and a residence in an area where you're going to get abused when you need it, a quick and easy way to make a fast buck is by being misunderstood. Which is exactly what happened to me.

I didn't know 50 Cent until I was introduced to him by one of our partners back in 2022, but a combination of perspective and timing didn't allow me to work out which of his many businesses was actually worth a shot as a competitive long-term business. As I've looked back on the events over the last eight years, I've made it a practice to identify the most logical candidate and research him on a deep level before I went after him. Now with the nature of our company, I don't have to research 50 Cent - with yesterday's news coming out of Paris, 50 Cent, I'm sure, has been living the life of Riley all year.
