How do I manage my YouTube TV subscription?

Where do I find YouTube TV settings?

I'm trying to watch YouTube TV on my Roku TV via a Chromecast, and I can't find the right channel.

It's showing up as CBS, but it has no apps or any of my channels. I tried playing a video with my computer and it worked just fine. What do I need to do?

When you connect your Roku to your internet modem, you have to go to the Google/YouTube TV app on your Roku and then enable the YouTube TV app. Then the Roku is ready to use. If you don't see a YouTube TV app on your Roku, check in the settings on your Roku.

The best source for how to do this for different Roku players is the Roku Forums. In your "Settings" you'll want to make sure that the YouTube TV channel is listed there. Once you do that, go into the main menu and look for the "Play" button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. You should be able to get to the channel you want in the drop down box.

If you are having problems finding your channel, you can also go into the channel search area (see screenshot below) and type in the name of the channel you want. Hi.e. I just set up my Roku streaming device and when I try to log into YouTube TV via the Roku settings I get the message "We're sorry, something went wrong". I don't have a log in account as this is the first time I've used it. I have to say the Roku streaming device is the best I've ever used. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I think the issue is because of the new update for YouTube TV that was released a few days ago. I just updated my Roku to the latest version. When I turn on the Roku, it automatically starts up YouTube TV. When I then try to sign in, I get the error message "Sorry, we're having trouble right now." I was having this same issue with the previous version of YouTube TV, but when I signed out of the account and turned off the Roku, then logged back in, it worked again. This was a couple of days ago, but now I'm having the same issue again. Do you know what I can do to get around this?

How do I login to my YouTube TV account?

Log into your account with your username and password.

To remember your password, click the "Remember password" button on the right.

I lost my password. How do I get it back? If you are logged in on an eligible device and you can't access the content you need, you can sign in to your YouTube TV account using your username and email address or phone number. Use these steps to log in: From the YouTube TV app or on your Android or iOS device, go to Settings, then My Account. If you sign in using your phone number, you'll also receive a code in the mail that you can use to complete the sign-in.

If you forget your password, go to the YouTube TV App and select "Forgot password". From there, follow the instructions to resend the password code to your email address.

Can I access my account from an eligible device when I'm not home? No. To watch content from your YouTube TV account on an eligible device when you're not home, you must log in on the device.

When you log in, you'll be notified that you need to use your phone, tablet, or computer to access your account. That way, you can watch programming from anywhere. You can also check the status of your requests, manage your channel lineup, and change your settings.

If you'd rather watch content from your TV than from a computer, tablet, or smartphone, choose one of the following methods to set up your preferred viewing environment: From the YouTube TV App or on your Android or iOS device, go to Settings, then Device. From there, you can turn on the option for your device to automatically check for new content so you can watch what's next on your schedule.

From the YouTube TV App or on your Android or iOS device, go to Settings, then Channels. Here, you can set the preference to automatically switch between channels and play the last channel you viewed. Here, you can select what type of content you want to see, such as the full TV experience, individual shows, or movies.
