How can I make Hulu use my proxy?

I'm trying to resolve a problem with a website that is requiring me to login before I can view the content.

I did some digging and it seems that the proxy settings are the same on the TV as they are on my PC. I even tried using the proxy settings from my TV to see if it would work. I don't understand why it wouldn't work.
