What VPN to use to connect to Philippines?

If I have a VPN or proxy that works on my home PC and laptop, will it work from abroad? Will it slow the connection down? I was on the 2G LTE wifi network in the Philippines, and if you are on the 3G or 4G wifi network, it will slow down your internet speed. My connection is from my PC to unblock-us, but then Unblock-Us has servers in several countries, which makes it very easy to use, because you can select a server in the Philippines. There is no need to buy anything, it is free. There is also a program that allows you to change the country from which the server in a certain country and use it there, although it did not do a great job.

I have not tried any other VPN, but this one works the best for me.

So, I have a VPN that I am trying to use right now, but the only servers it shows for the Philippines are paid. What should I do? I've been looking at the NordVPN website but I don't know if it has the Philippines servers or not.

They have servers in China, USA, France, and Mexico. The server in China works well and I have no issues with that.

I noticed that the servers listed on the NordVPN website are free, but they don't say if they are in the Philippines. I could always just download the program and check if they have servers in the Philippines. Is there any problem doing this?
