I'm kind of new to all of this. I've borrowed multiple DS games from stores and friends, and none of them have any sort of hardware, not even Admiral Ackbar. I've been playing Sonic Unleashed with Saturn Sonic or Lite, as well as the DS version. I noticed several times that when you're playing the DS level, suddenly it'll be in cut-scenes, and Sonic's fighting other creatures. In the PC version, it's just about the same. You're going up against creatures, and you enter cut-scenes. But in the DS version? Multiple times, when a major boss comes around, they get impaled by Sonic (unless they just wiggle out of the way). And then in the cut-scene, they go back into cut-scene. It seems like this is a Dreamcast exclusive, as such annoying clips don't seem to be present in earlier DS entries.

Hello, and merry Christmas! I'm kind of new to all of this as well. Like NiagaraLover says, I've borrowed some games and such too, and I have the DS. That said, does orrobot sound familiar at all? It's the one who makes Sweet Sour Sauce, or something? Whatever, I'll try and find an image, whatever it is. (If you want, I can give some idea as to what I'm talking about.)

Anyways, if orbot is the culprit (and obviously since I have the DS, he/she is) then any help would be appreciated. As for me, my system is: Saturn SLC-50 or Saturn Lite, whichever came first for me. Probably before Sonic Unleashed. It's just now gathering dust, so it's still working (and, apparently other than the stylus, is the only functioning hardware!

When you say the DS is the highest standard, you mean the graphics are more detailed than the others? Because I've played every version except DS Lite, and the graphics didn't really seem to be anything that special, but I could be wrong. I wanted to get the character models into my game, if they're in numberpad, that is.
