Is WordPress and Bluehost the same?

How do I log into WordPress through Bluehost?

I have a new WordPress site on Bluehost and I am not sure how to log in.

I tried my username and password and it does not work. I am getting a 404 error on my browser. Does anyone know how to log in?

Log in to Bluehost, click on the WordPress icon, click on the 'Dashboard' tab, then click on 'Settings'. Under the 'General Settings' tab, look for the 'Username' option. Fill in your username and password there. The rest of the settings will be filled in automatically.

If you are using a cPanel account, go to your wp-admin folder. If you are not logged in, you can open it by clicking on the cpanel icon.

Login with your credentials. Go to the WP-admin folder. Open the folder named wp-config-sample.php That is your file, you need to change some settings there. For that you have to go to the tab named 'General'. Change the setting for 'Admin username' and 'Admin password'. Save the file. Go back to the dashboard tab. You should see the changes.

How do I access my WordPress login?

My first reaction was how can I not have the password.

It's like logging in from the other computer and using an entirely different login information.

When you click on the username field, it will take you to a screen that will let you edit your login info. So What's Next? Okay. So now you've figured out how to change your WordPress login.

That's good. What do we need to change next? Well, we need to make sure the new info is entered in correctly. Logging in via the username/email only. The login/registration page lets you do just that. The username is pre-populated in case you want to use the email as the username. Clicking on the username box takes you to the WordPress dashboard screen where you can enter new info if necessary.

Setting up WordPress with a strong password - A Must. Let's pretend that you wanted to try and log in with some new info. When you login for the first time, you'll see a warning message: This site can't verify that you are who you say you are. This is the default screen you'll see when your login credentials have not been entered properly.

Your first step would be to ensure you entered the password right. Next, add the email and select the username field so that you don't have to keep typing in your email address. That takes care of the verify your email address verification bit.

The Password Checker. WordPress has built in function for checking whether a password has been correctly entered or not. The built in checker is called The Password Checker.

Click on the The Password Checker button. Your WordPress site will display the following screen, the Password Checker.

After making sure you entered your new password correctly, click Verify Password. As long as you entered it correctly, you should get a green check mark next to the new password.

Your Password Information (again). Once you have verified your password, the password screen will tell you again what your new password is, and what email address you logged in from.
