We were talking about how to help more students be able to get access to this information, and something popped in my mind: I wonder what kind of data can be collected? If were to know the names of all of the students who logged into the site, as well as their unique IP addresses, I thought that it would be possible to determine who is logging in from school computers and which ones are logging in from home computers. This is a lot easier to do when you don't have any privacy concerns. We could figure out where the connections are coming from geographically, as well as whether or not students who are logged in are in the same location as their school computers.
