App Store Review Guidelines are very clear: Apps can't access your camera, read your contacts, or use location services. But how do you actually turn off the permission when you want to use these features? The first step is to look at Settings Privacy Location Services. Here, you'll see a list of all the apps that are currently accessing your location, along with their icon and name. If you see an app that you don't recognize, you can tap on the app's icon to learn more about its access to your location.

To revoke the app's access, tap on its name and a menu will open. From here, you can choose to either deny access to the app (by tapping the button next to it) or revoke access (by tapping the Revoke button).

Similarly, tap on the location services icon to see which apps have access to your camera, and revoke access as described above. And finally, to switch your location settings to Do Not Ask, you'll find this option in Settings Privacy Location Services System Services.

What is it saying there? There's no App Store, just an empty page where I can enter a search term. So it's not even showing the App Store at all.

My friend told me that he could download the App Store app from the App Store by selecting "iOS 6.1 on Wi-Fi with App Store" under iTunes 9.7.3, however, after I installed iTunes, I can't find anything under "iOS 6.1 on Wi-Fi with App Store" as well.

How do I get the App Store on my iPad? I also tried installing iOS 5.161 through iTunes on my computer, but when I selected a download link, it took me to a page that had this message: There is no way to download iOS 5.1 right now, so I guess the App Store isn't available yet.

Also, there's no option for "iOS 5.1 on Wi-Fi" in my iPad settings.

The App Store and most of the other software and settings on the iPad work the same way they work on the iPhone. First, ensure your iPad is connected to a wifi network that is connected to the Internet. The iPad cannot download apps from anywhere if it doesn't have an active internet connection.

Second, go to Tap "Apps", then "View in store", then "Search". Type in the name of the app you want to install, and tap "search". Tap the app you want to install, and tap "Install".

This will download and install the app on your device. If it works, this is what you're going to see when you visit on your iPad.
