How do I load an OpenVPN profile?

I am using OpenVPN GUI from my Windows desktop. I want to connect to a site (ie vpn.me.com) that is protected by an OpenVPN server. How can I connect to it? I know that I can install an OpenVPN profile for the site (on my desktop), but how do I load it onto my client?

How do I import config into OpenVPN?

As I am using CentOS and not sure how to import the config to /etc/openvpn.

Also I do not know what file it is referring to. Would any one mind clearing that up for me?
