How do I enable VPN on Chrome?

How do I enable VPN on Chrome?

The answer is to open up the Chrome browser.

Then simply click on the menu button > More tools (gear) > Settings.

Then navigate to the Network menu. Choose Advanced and the Enable networking features should now be available. You need to tick the checkbox and you are done. This is also why the "Enable VPN" button doesn't work.

And this is it! Chrome will now ask if you are sure about enabling this. Once you do this, Firefox will ask you for your settings (eg ITP), which you need to agree before getting a certificate. You should be able to browse websites now.

But beware that some pages are not properly encrypted. Google was asked about this before, if Google can block sites when I use my ITP but most sites don't get blocked.

Edit: If you are worried about what sites will be available via site.

Why is Chrome not working with VPN?

I need to ask a favour of you and I have searched high and low for the answer and found nothing.

So, I'll do my best to explain what's happening.

I'm using an O2 Smart 3G internet dongle and using IPVanish VPN software, (I've read that there is another free one but I couldn't find it) which is running on a dual core Windows 7 machine. It's set up with this new version of Chrome and I have had no problems. But when I use an internet cafe's WiFi, Google chrome won't display anything until I go to Tools->Reset and clear all cache and data etc. It does this quite often as in a few minutes I'll have no internet connection. This is just from turning on and logging into the internet cafe. The connection can be quite slow and the internet works fine with Mozilla Firefox, so I know the connection is ok and my computer is OK. I've been trying to work out what's wrong since I first moved to Scotland with no real success and I think that I may have lost my mojo with figuring out these things.

Anyway, I'm not sure whether I should just buy a new computer and stick the VPN thingy on it or just wait around for it to break. Does anybody have any suggestions? The only information I can gather is that this is something to do with Google Chrome and the DNS and/or DNS changes but I don't know if that's a valid assumption. Hi! I used VirtualRouter on my computer until recently, when I've decided to migrate to vpnc and ipfix because my wireless network had a bad reputation with VirtualRouter, and they didn't support Mac. So I've got the problem exactly.

If you have Windows Vista, you can use IPCop Free-VPN and it will works without problem. It uses OpenVPN client, and very easy to setup and configure. I tested it personally and it works perfectly.

IPCop has two type of account, premium account and free account. Premium account provide more features and the speed is limited. Free account is more better, but it has a limitation that it cannot access private network (you cannot go in any private network).

How do I unblock a website on Chrome VPN?

Hi guys, I just set up my Chrome VPN and it works great. However, the website that I am trying to access is blocked. I can still access other websites. Also, I can access the website if I go to the main page and then press f5. How do I unblock the website if I can't get to it directly?

You have an option to "Clear my browsing data". This option will clear all your browsing data. So if you clear all your browsing data you will be able to unblock the website.

Re: How do I unblock a website on Chrome VPN? I am still getting the same error and the same message. Can you help me? I've already tried all suggestions here and nothing worked for me. The weird thing is that if I try to open a youtube or facebook page it works fine. But this one website doesn't work.

Hello, @tristan. Yes, I tried clearing browsing data.

However, I just tried again and I'm still having the same problem. If I load the website directly, I can unblock it. But if I try to access the website by clicking the link in the email I sent you, I cannot get past the captcha. When I click the link, it loads a new tab, but I still cannot access the website. I am not sure what to do.

I'm currently in France, so maybe that has something to do with it. I don't know.

I was having the same issue. Here is what I did and it worked for me.

Log out and login again. After you are logged in, visit the site that you wish to unblock. When you have reached the site you wish to visit, visit the 'Clear browsing data' menu. Clear browsing data will ask you if you want to clear cookies, data, etc. Click 'Yes'. This will clear your browsing data on your Google account.

You will be asked to enter your email address and password. You should always change your password to a strong one.
