How to download PDF from website which is not downloadable in Chrome?

How do I download a private PDF?

I work as a volunteer with a national not-for-profit and have access to many of their newsletters, memos, and other information but they don't make it available to us (as volunteers). They send out PDFs occasionally and I would like to download them to my machine for reference. In the past, I could go into my work's email account and find them. How do I do that now? I don't want the content to fall into the wrong hands so I can't put it up on the server. Thanks for any help on this!

Re: ? If you are using Outlook Express, then you need to log in to your account (your work email), click on Send/Receive and select Attach Files/Folders. You will then be presented with the list of files from the person. Select the one you want to open up and go to the View tab. You can then choose Save As/Save File as a file or Open the document as a file in whichever way you like.

Thanks everyone, so I downloaded Acrobat reader 7.5. I don't know if that was a good idea or not. I could print the page with Acrobat but if they use this regularly I wanted to own it. In the end, it is not bad for me to know about it.

I think it's probably reasonable to assume that you have permission to download the files; otherwise, why bother? It would just be very insecure. I use Windows and I'm on Outlook 2023. You can also download the PDF with Word, as long as you have the free version (Microsoft Office 2023 or later). The file names are .doc/.docx and can be uploaded to MS Sharepoint.

You can use Office Viewer, which is part of Office 2023, to view, but not save a copy of the file, as far as I know. If you're on a Mac, they're named .pdf and you can use Preview to view them.

In the old days when I worked in the corporate world, there were usually several copies of this material that we downloaded.

How do I save a protected PDF as unprotected?

We have a PDF-protected file which was created with ITextSharp. So I can't open it in Acrobat Reader. It is opened in PDF-explorer with the password. I want to remove the password but can't do so.

I want to make a copy of the PDF and unprotect it but I am not sure how to do that. When I search for this problem it says the same thing: ? So for people who need a direct answer. In the Acrobat Pro you open the protected file in the acrobat pro version then goto Tools > Advanced > Document Protection > Remove (make sure you don't remove the protection from the original file!). If you try to change the protection status, you will see the prompt saying "this document can't be saved with altered protection". So in that case, what you can do is select this file and goto the above acrobat version where you can change the protection status.
