How do I share a VPN with another device?

How do I export VPN settings from my iPhone?

I have an iPhone 4 running IOS 5 and my company IT gave me access to their network for a job.

The network is protected by a Cisco VPN on the company's end and I am on it's end, I have to change my security settings for VPN over a cellular network. After several trials I finally found app that exported them. Here they are:

However, there are two things that seem to be different between the exported information and the info that I had manually put in as I tested. When I go to the settings screen to set it up again, I cannot find any of those settings. Is there something I need to do to activate them or something? There are two other items under this same menu, when should I access them and where are they located?

The first one seems the same as what you mentioned. That one actually isn't saved on the device. To make things easier, most people just turn off their VPN connections and log in with their username and password manually. When I have to log in manually, I can see this and have access to things like contacts, etc.

My second question comes in because it seems when I went from having the manual configuration in place to the setting above as I tried to do exports, it got messed up on my phone in the meantime? As they were the same before. The second one is to say "what does the IP address look like?" And that is what the picture I got below is about. Thanks for being willing to help this guy! I had been searching the entire day to find information to resolve this problem. I was not able to find any settings with them and my IT person said I could not do anything without the settings. I figured the one with his name on it would be the best person to ask? He didn't seem to know much about it either so I figured I would get some help.

I would like to thank you for helping in the process to set them up as well as the info on the manual config settings! The last one is the one for my iPhone. The IP address is like 192.168.10.xx (I don't know how to type that IP) where on my PC for example, it would be something like 192.

So when I have it in a VPN setting then the address will look like that?

How do I share a VPN with another device?

You can also use a VPN on your desktop, mobile device, or tablet.

While you can use any device that has access to the Internet, for maximum security, you should always use a dedicated VPN client on the device you want to use the VPN for. This way, your VPN connection is only as strong as the device that it is running on. Also, the software will always be the same. It's safe to install VPN clients on multiple devices, since they won't share their connection with other devices. However, the VPN client itself should always be used only on the specific device you wish to protect.

How do I connect to a VPN? To connect to a VPN, you must first make sure that you have enabled network proxy settings on the device. You can do this by going to Settings on your Android device and selecting Network Proxy Settings. In the next window, enable the "Automatically detect settings" option. If you have an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, General, Network, and then tap on Automatic Proxy Setting.

In Windows, go to Settings > Network > Change Adapter settings. You will see a list of network connections that are connected to your Wi-Fi network. Choose the connection you wish to enable and then click on the More Settings option.

Once you are in the more settings menu, you will see the name of the Wi-Fi network connection you want to use for your VPN. Click on the advanced option. You will then be asked if you want to enable the VPN service on your home network. You can check the box to enable the VPN connection and then choose whether to connect automatically. Click OK when you are done.

How do I configure the VPN settings? When you start using a VPN connection, you may want to make some changes to your VPN connection settings. You can also use the VPN to change the settings on your computer.

On Android, open the VPN settings from the notification tray. Select Connect, check the option to enable the VPN connection, and then select the server you wish to connect to. You can also choose to share your connection with other devices, which means that all the connected devices can access the same VPN connection.

Is it possible to share a VPN connection?

If a VPN connection is created on your computer, can you share that connection with another user?

I'm trying to set up a server with openVPN to allow only certain users to connect to it. I'm able to set it up, but I need to share that connection between users. I've been looking at the openVPN documentation and was unable to find anything on this. Is it possible to share an openVPN connection?

If so, how? If not, is there another way to restrict access to a server with openVPN? Thank you in advance for any help. Answer:Can you share a VPN connection? I just setup a vpn connection to my server and connected from my laptop. What I did was;. In the settings of the vpn connection, click the "Manage VPN Connections" button. Click the name of your VPN connection and you will see a popup window appear. Click the "shared connections" tab and then click the name of the connection that you want to share. You can now share that connection with the other users that you want to connect to the server. Note: The connection that you shared will be the last one that you had setup in the settings. It seems that what you are doing is something similar to what we are trying to do with a Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. What you are describing is a peer-to-peer VPN connection. I would like to know if it is possible to share a peer-to-peer VPN connection. I tried to follow the steps that you gave in your answer but when I go into the "Manage VPN Connections" page I am unable to find the option to share the connection.

I tried to use the connection wizard that is provided by Cisco to create a peer-to-peer connection and it does not allow me to share the connection. I was able to configure the connection but I have to share the configuration file with the other user.

Answer:Share a peer-to-peer VPN connection? Hi John. Sorry for not answering sooner, I have been on vacation and have only now been able to get back into this forum.

Can I share VPN via hotspot?

I am a web developer.

My office wants me to share VPN via hotspot so that I can work from home. Since I use OpenVPN, I have the following concern. Assume that I'm at work. Then I connect to VPN.

And my work network has a public IP address, for example: 168.0. And it is a gateway of 192.1
The other machines at my office don't have a public IP. When I try to connect to my company's VPN server via hotspot (and I don't have public IP), will I be able to access 192. Thanks. If you can access 192.1, and if you are able to do that, then you will be able to do your job from home.
