I have a pair of network gear on my computer.

I am trying to use PPTP (PPP over point-to-point tunneling). I have installed Netwiz VPN client for the purpose, and it is working fine as well. I am getting through the VPN but I am unable to use internet. Netwiz doesn't seem to have any option to use PPTP with VPN connection.

Is there any other way to make this work? How to set up PPTP through Cisco's ASA? I am trying to set up PPTP through cisco's astrisk-7100 series of firewall. I am able to enable PPTP tunneling on both the sides, however I am not able to actually establish PPTP session. Here is the screen shot:

I've tried the IP address that was specified by my firewall as well as it's IPv4 address. I even tried the IP address of the firewall on same subnet. It works when I try to connect directly from one of the firewalls to the other without VPN, but it doesn't work when I try to connect through VPN. I want to be able to connect to my local network through my VPN using PPTP so I can access internet. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Using PPTP on both ends. I am using Windows XP SP3, and the Cisco ASA (Version 5.2(1)).

My PC connects to the firewall through a VPN (I do not have a router, I connect to the internet through my ISP) and then I try to connect through the VPN to another network with its firewall which is configured for PPTP through Cisco's ASI am able to verify that the two PCs are able to communicate to each other through the VPN. I can see the Cisco interface status and my IP address in the ASA (I have IP addresses assigned in each subnet on each firewall). Both interfaces get IP addresses in the same subnet (subnet 10.0/24 on each firewall).

When I try to send a packet between the two PCs, I see the following message in the ASA interface: It says "Source address 10.34" which is the source of the ppp connection which I am making to the firewall. I have the firewall NATed to 10.
