Why can't I log into Hulu?

Why is it saying I'm not eligible for Hulu at this time?

Sasha. Hi Sasha! Let's start with the second question first. The reason your account might not be eligible is because your credit card or other payment methods have been charged for some amount of time, and your account hasn't been active long enough to qualify.

Hulu is great! We love it. We're always trying to keep people as connected to the streaming service as possible. But we do make mistakes. We think our systems are so great that if a mistake happens, we've never had it happen. But yes, sometimes there's a bug in the system, or a technical issue. But what's happening is the way that you have accessed the service in the past (via a valid payment method), you can't continue to use that payment method. If you use another payment method, then you'll be able to continue using that.

So yes, please rest assured that this was not an issue with your account. But we want you to know about this, so you can get the TV shows and movies you want. So the next time you log in, if you remember what you've been charged for, you can use the same payment method again. If you've already paid with a different payment method, you can use the payment method you used the last time you accessed the service.

If you don't remember what you've been charged for, you can also add the payment method associated with the previous account. You can find the payment methods you've used for your Hulu account by going to the 'Your Account' section, then clicking on 'Payments'.

I just don't want to go back to Netflix. Is there any way to do this? Hulu's not the most reliable source of content. Their content is generally just a few months old at best. The newest TV show seasons are all over the place for them and it's a mess. It's a good thing that Netflix is taking over because they're the only ones that have a consistent service.

I'd recommend you try the new Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra and see if that gets you Netflix and Hulu. They're cheap now that they've cut the price in half.
