I am assuming that you mean the privacy of your own computer. If that's the case, just install the Tor browser bundle (here is a link for Windows users) and everything will be hidden.

You could use multiple browsers and just turn off history entirely. This is true. So far, I've been using Opera. And I know how to turn off history.
