Why is my IP address flagged?
To see what sites are showing an IP address associated with your Internet account, go to My IP (or My Settings) on My Verizon Media Center. If the flag is for a website you frequent, take the following steps: Step 1: Open a browser window. Step 2: Enter the URL into the address bar. Step 3: Press ENTER. You will be redirected to a page that shows the website's homepage.
Step 4: Look at the bottom right corner of the screen. There should be a drop down arrow next to the word Your IP address and an icon for your network connection. See Figure 1.
Figure 1. Your IP address has been flagged by the site If your IP address is being flagged for a reason other than accessing the site in question, take the following steps: Step 2: Enter the website address into the address bar. You will be redirected to the site's homepage. You may find information about this issue from the Site Access menu. See Figure 2.
Step 5: Close the browser window. Why am I receiving pop-up messages from sites I frequent? You receive pop-up messages from websites you frequent as long as you have not changed any of your settings related to those websites. These settings are contained within the Verizon Media Center app or browser.
A pop-up message can appear on a computer or a mobile device. However, these messages typically only appear on computers. When you view these messages on a computer, they should not appear when you view the page in a web browser.
Pop-up messages can indicate that the website has been flagged as a suspicious or malicious website by the websites in question. If you want to stop receiving these messages, you can configure the content on your computer. See the article Turn off pop-up messages for help.

How long does Instagram block your IP address?
There has been speculation about how long an Instagram profile page will remain blocked by Instagram for a user who has had a suspended account. The length of time, if any, depends on how you have conducted yourself as a user and this is determined by Instagram and not the user. If the user takes active steps to be blocked they will be blocked soon after the suspension is received.
The reason an account is blocked has nothing to do with the nature of the content that you put up on your page, nor with any comment made about your page, nor anything else. The reason is because you violated one of Instagram's Terms Of Use, or TOU. There are a few kinds of violations to which we can draw attention here:
(7.5) You can't post content that - includesspecifically,is intended or appears to be dangerous, misleading, hateful, or harmful to someone or group of people;. (7.6) You can't post spam (including the type where people respond in a comment section of your post without consent).
(5.3) Content or information you post isn't clearly marked as a paid advertisement, promotion or solicitation. Ads/Promotions that violate this policy, such as those disguised as links or featuring links or graphics you don't control, will be removed and reported to us
There are two very big categories of violations - content that violates our guidelines and content that violates copyright. Violations of COPYRIGHT. Copyright infringements result from posting photos that the user does not hold the copyright to. If you've published something on Instagram without permission, and you've used a license, you might have violated copyright.
Violations of INSTAGRAM GUIDELINES. Instagram's community guidelines are found at /content/rules. We strongly recommend you read them before posting.
As mentioned above, Instagram won't always block you from posting again immediately, but will keep you blocked for 90 days. A good way to avoid getting blocked by Instagram for any content is to delete your profile once you're banned, so that even though you may still have the content, it's no longer associated with your account and thus it cannot be detected by Instagram.
