How do I unblock restricted websites?

We have recently been asked how to unblock websites on the net. A number of web sites have been closed down for one reason or another and we want to ensure that our clients can access them. So we have put together this article to help you out.

This article will show you the best ways to get around the restrictions on websites, such as those that are blocked by your ISP. Internet Service Providers (ISPs) such as BT, Virgin, O2, Sky and TalkTalk use a system called DNS which points you to the right website. If you are trying to get around the restrictions then you need to know how to change your DNS settings so that you can access the sites you want.

So the first step is to check that your ISP has provided you with the correct DNS settings in the first place. You can do this by going into your web browser and typing in your computer's IP address into the address bar. If you are not sure what this is, then we have included a handy guide to IP addresses below.

The next thing you need to do is log into your ISP's website. This is normally found by going to the address bar in your browser and typing "". Then follow the instructions on their website. If you are having problems with this you may need to contact them and ask for help.

You may be able to contact your ISP directly if you have a phone line. If you have a landline then the number will be in the front of your telephone bill. If you have a mobile phone then you will be able to find it on your mobile phone bill.

If your ISP does not provide you with these settings then you may need to call them. Most of them will be very helpful and they will take care of it for you. You can also use the webform on the right to report the problem.

If you are unsure which DNS settings your ISP should have then you should go into your router and look at the settings. If you are using a wireless router then you will need to refer to the manual that came with it.

Now that you have changed your DNS settings you can begin to unblock websites. There are several ways to do this, but we are going to go through the best way to unblock websites for you.

How do I unblock Chrome from school?

It really bothers me because I don't have a Windows-based computer at school. I have a smartphone and a Mac (in class). Both of those devices have limited security.

The school network policy is that all Internet-connected devices, even smart phones, should only be used for specific school-approved purposes. However, this has never been defined.

It is also unclear how exactly their policy applies to non-Windows systems like Mac OS X and Linux, and how they enforce it. My Mac is completely blocked from accessing the Internet at school; we need to use a school-issued PC to access Chrome.

The only ways to connect to the Internet on my Mac are through a VPN (it's a government agency so they require it), or logging into one of the school laptops. However, the network laptop won't let you in either. As an adult, I could go to the school's IT department and get my laptop and PC unblocked. Unfortunately, I have to do this for all my school devices. What happens if I need to use Chrome to print homework? I know they can't prevent me from using the school's WiFi hotspot, but what about things like Google Calendar and Gmail, which are blocked by their IT policy? Do I need to log into my email accounts at work to get around their blocked browser?

So, I just got off of school property (a different school) where the IT person told me that I can use Chrome without being logged into my Google account because of a Google Chrome extension. If you turn off or never enabled sync, it will use whatever device to view pages. It's not entirely clear whether it will continue to block your search history, but it seems like it won't.

If you have Google Sync turned on and want Chrome to track your search history on all your devices, I have found that there are two extensions that make this work.

Why is Google Chrome blocked?

On October 21, 2023, an article at Ars Technica described the problem of a Google Chrome update that was causing some users to be unable to access the Web.

It was a bizarre problem that involved some users getting a warning screen from Google, even though their computer was perfectly set up to view and load web pages. However, a quick restart resolved the problem, and the warning screen went away.

How did this problem start? Google made an update to Google Chrome about a month before this happened, on October 18th. This update (at least for Windows users) was released to Google's Web Store on October 19th.

While an update wasn't needed for Mac or Linux users, if you are running a Windows computer with the Google Web Store installed, then this update was required. Users ran into problems on October 21st, two days after the update had been installed. A few weeks later, a number of users began reporting problems that they couldn't get through a Google Chrome window. They had to turn off Google Chrome completely in order to be able to browse the Web again. Some users reported that they were getting a warning message instead of being able to use Google Chrome.

Why is Google Chrome so popular? You may not know it, but you can actually buy a copy of Google Chrome right now, completely free. Go ahead, go to google.com/chrome and log into your account. You will notice that a download button appears to the right of the login box. Click it, and you will see the browser download start to download automatically. Don't worry, you can continue reading this article if you start the download!

Google does a pretty good job of making people get to know the company before releasing applications, music, movies, and everything else online. They have a pretty good reputation.

Google was one of the first major companies to offer a free operating system that allowed desktop users to do pretty much anything that any other OS could do. However, the operating system is available only on hardware that runs the Intel x86 platform. As such, the operating system does not work on most ARM-based devices.

Google announced a free Web browser with its Chrome software operating system several years ago. I have been using it since it was first introduced. It's really fast, and very easy to use.
