What protocol does SoftEther use?
SoftEther uses a proprietary protocol to connect to your Microsoft Exchange Server. It also uses a proprietary protocol to communicate with your Microsoft Exchange Server. In your SoftEther Administrator Console you can see detailed information about the connection to your exchange server, including the IP address and port number.
What is 'hidden' IP address? The term 'hidden' in the context of IP addresses means that the IP address is not listed in your DNS server. Using this technique, we hide the IP address of our network interface from unauthorised people trying to hack into our network.

What is a trial version? SoftEther is commercial software, so we offer a 30-day trial version. This is a fully functioning version of the software, except that you can only register one domain. What ports need to be open for SoftEther?
I'm trying to use a Linux 2.6.15 kernel.
The SoftEther network device driver is a Windows driver, so it is usually only used on Windows computers. There is also a Linux SoftEther driver, but I don't know if it supports the same set of network protocols as the Windows driver.
I
The windows driver is in fact also available on Linux. The only difference is that on Linux you have to compile a kernel module yourself.
One thing that I can think of is that the protocol used by the Windows driver is more complex than the protocol used by the Linux driver. On Linux, you don't have to do anything special for this: you can use whatever network card you have without the need to do anything, because Linux is ready to use any network card. For example, you can have a network card without any protocol support, or with support for only one of the protocols that the SoftEther driver supports.
You need to download and install the SoftEther network driver for the Windows operating system. Download the Windows driver from the SoftEther download page. Download the Windows driver setup file, unzip it, run the setup file, and follow the instructions. Open the downloaded Windows driver setup file. Click on "Next" until you see the "I have read the agreement" screen. Click "I have read the agreement" to accept the license terms. Click "Next" until you see the "I want to install the driver" screen. Click "Next" to install the driver. Click "Finish" to close the driver setup wizard. Start the SoftEther device driver installation wizard. Click "Next" until you see the "Installation type" screen. Click "Select a software installation type" to select "Unattended Driver Installation". Click "Next" to continue. Click "Next" to accept the warning that the SoftEther driver installation wizard will close.
Is SoftEther fast?
I was curious as to whether SoftEther is fast or slow. I know that it is possible to use the Windows driver directly. However, I was wondering if it is faster to use SoftEther or if the Windows driver is just as fast.
You are correct that the Windows driver is the same speed as the SoftEther driver. SoftEther is just a wrapper around the Windows driver. The only difference between the SoftEther driver and the Windows driver is that the SoftEther driver is a bit more user friendly.
So if you have a device that you want to use, you should download the SoftEther driver and use it. You don't have to use the Windows driver.
Thanks. Yes, I've used the Windows driver directly before. I'm just curious if it is faster or not.
