How do I open Task Manager in Chrome?
Why can't I close Chrome Task Manager in Ubuntu 19.
Tried uninstalling and rebooting but cannot find the "Task Manager" in the Application list. I've searched for it, but everything in Google about "Task Manager in Ubuntu" results in just finding the "system monitor".
Google also gives this solution but I'm on a fresh installation and it's not the way to do it. Any ideas why I can't access it? Thanks. Google Chrome is currently not packaged with an equivalent to the Ubuntu Task Manager. As such, you'll have to install chromium browser.
Chromium will be installed alongside by default as ubuntu19.10, unless one of its default browser pre-installed on your system is already being used. Grep Selection
The 'chromium-browser' is selected by default on my machine. (I use the above command to display all instances of chromium-browser being available from multiple sources. As long as that's your main browser, you don't need the task manager. It'd also still allow you to run any browser's task manager.

You can use the Task Manager to shut down programs that are not responding or running properly. You can also use it to restart them. If you close or delete programs while they are running, the Task Manager lets you restart them without any loss of data.
The Task Manager is the only way that you can shut down your computer if you have multiple programs that are running. If you try to turn off your computer using the Shut Down or Restart commands in Windows, it may shut down programs that you don't want to shut down. That could cause your computer to fail to start or cause you to lose data or programs. The Task Manager solves this problem by allowing you to shut down individual programs without shutting down the operating system.
How do I close all tasks in Task Manager?
I have an application that sometimes crashes.
When I open task manager, I see a lot of tasks with the same description, name and process name: How can I close all of these tasks? I've looked at taskkill /im cmd.exe /c "command" but this only seems to work on cmd. I don't want to kill every single process with the name of cmd.exe, I want to kill all the other tasks with the same description, name and process name as cmd.
You can use this line in your taskkill command: /f /im cmd.
