How can I turn restrictions off?

How can I turn restrictions off?

There are two types of restrictions: FileSystem Access Restrictions.

If you want to limit read access to the files and folders within a document library to users who do not have access to the file system, in a custom web part or SharePoint page, use the FileSystemAccessOnly attribute.

Folder Permission. If you want to limit access to subfolders or documents contained within a folder, see how to set permissions for a specific folder and subfolders in SharePoint.

As per this blog on MSDN. FileSystemAccessOnly allows you to specify that the item is not sharable to all site users or anonymous users. I used the FileSystemAccessOnly attribute in a custom webpart, and did indeed get this behavior. The problem was that I was trying to apply it in a webpart that I embedded directly on a page, instead of putting it in a MasterPage. After I put it on the masterpage, and then applied the webpart to the page, I got the "This content cannot be displayed" error.

How do I remove restrictions from my iPad?

I have an iPad which i've already jailbroken and rooted. The problem is: I don't know how to completely remove or disable the restrictions that come with the jailbreak. I've used cydia already to install Cydia (which I installed the first time I jailbroke the device), but there's no menu to remove the restrictions.

Can somebody give me the info to allow me to completely uninstall these restrictions? Thank you in advance. There are a few reasons why you might not want to get rid of them, all of which are valid and understandable. The first is performance. If you don't have a need for a particular package, it can bog down your system in ways that it would not if they were restricted. So, if you're on an older iPad with a limited memory and processor, and there are many packages that don't fit into it (and who knows what other packages you may have installed in the process of messing around with the system to free things up)? They can cause significant slowdowns in processing. It would be nice if you could at least turn off some features so that the device won't run as fast as it does when they aren't even running. That doesn't necessarily mean that every package you add should come with all their restrictions either. I just mean the one(s) you find that you really don't need.

If you really want to remove them, I'd suggest turning off all the restriced packages in Cydia, and then uninstalling Cydia altogether. Then you're back to installing new stuff and not having to worry about restrictions. That said, the above should still apply.

The reason is performance. Even the newer, more capable tablets I have tested on run very slowly if they have too many restricted packages. I am unsure about the older models, but they are likely to suffer in this regard.

The second reason is that it's really just a waste of space.

Where is the restrictions setting on my iPad?

I can not find it!

IOS restricts the following access to the App Store: Apps with features that require payment to use (ie, those apps that don't charge you but request credit card information as part of their functionality). Apps that provide subscriptions or in-app purchases (ie, apps with recurring charges). Apps that display any content (text, images, videos) with a link to other apps. Apps that share data (for example, those that include links or other data in a Web page). The App Store Review Guidelines are located here: Specifically, the "Restrictions on the App Store" section of the App Store Review Guidelines states: 9 Apps should only be downloaded from the App Store, and not uploaded or sideloaded to any other location. Also, Apple uses the following language to discuss the type of restrictions applied to apps in the App Store: 1 Apps containing explicit sexual content or nudity will be rejected. 2 Apps containing content that is not safe for work, or contains. pornographic, gambling, or drug use may be rejected. 3 Apps containing hate speech or incitement of violence may be. 4 Apps containing content that violates or infringes upon another. party's intellectual property rights may be rejected

How do I turn off restrictions on my iPad but I don't know the password?

I have an iPad that I bought a few months ago but never knew the password.

All access to my tablet has been via my friend's computer on my wifi network at his house where he's setting up a game for me to play. But what was my tablet's default password? Is there some secret way that I can enter it?

So you are just on your friend's Wifi? Or your friend's home WiFi? If its your friend's wifi, well you only need the password. On your device go to Settings, Tap on Restrictions then tap on Require Password. It is there for you to type in the password for him to see or not. Its there to force him to show off that much needed game if he wants.

If its just on his own wifi, you cannot access the restrictions. He will know where you want to go and will block you. The only thing you can do is delete the restrictions, and then you will just be able to view the games he chooses to show you. Hope this helps

You need the password, which I believe should be on the lock screen, and there should be a small green plus sign. You hold on this sign. In some cases they don't show the password to you so you need to have them enter it. The password is hidden within the settings under General section, if you were to go to that and do a search you will find it.

The user name is required by your Apple ID. The password is a device specific set of requirements. They might not tell you the password you type in (like it happened with my iPhone 3G that I just bought, they didn't even tell me the phone pass). Just keep trying different passwords until one works. It took like 5 times before I found it.

Go to Settings and look for restrictions. When you get to restrictions you can turn on password (and you type in the password) that way your friend won't be able to see what apps you get anymore.

I was able to figure this out since I just signed in to the network my friend used to do this. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner, "More" Then "Restrictions", tap on it. Look for Require Password to turn it off, or Require Screen Time/iTunes/App Store to turn it off.
