Is T-Mobile internet really unlimited?
By Brian Tong.
I have an iPhone 3G and I'm a bit curious about T-Mobile's data plan. The plan has a limit of 2GB per month, and the data is only counted against your bill at the end of the month. That's it. T-Mobile does give a few of their customers a 5GB data allowance (more than enough for my needs). So I have a few questions: Is there any advantage to choosing this data plan over the usual data plans? Can I use other phone number on my phone, and use data from another one? Any other advantages or disadvantages? -Brian. You know, I'm having a hard time thinking that T-Mobile would intentionally make a phone that wouldn't work without their network. In fact, most of their devices work just fine without the network. If they didn't want to include 3G capability, there would be a BIG PR announcement like no more plans with 3G because 3G is simply unusable without the network. The only time a phone would truly be unlimited would be if you have an unlimited line.
T-Mobile definitely has the best deal right now. That is until they get their foot in the door and start offering phones that only work with T-Mo and/or the service, as well as more competitive deals.
A few things: No. Yes. This would be nice in theory but is very unlikely to actually happen. If the networks were open you could use the phone with any service carrier you chose, but that's not what I'm talking about. With T-Mobile's existing agreement with other carriers, that data is tied exclusively to the one with which it was originally purchased, and it cannot be ported to another service provider or phone.
So, theoretically, I have the ability to use data from AT&T if I wanted. That would be very useful, especially if T-Mobile decides to offer a cheap 3G hotspot. So, you'd sign up with AT&T and port your number, then use that.
But, in reality, that never will happen.
How fast is T-Mobile Home 5G internet?
This phone supports T-Mobile's 5G Evolution solution.
The device will automatically connect to your 5G network when on standby mode as there is no need for you to manually setup or switch 5G connection. You can choose between 2 5G speeds, including low-latency (up to 3 ms) and high-data (up to 1.9 Mbps). The device can also be used as a traditional mobile phone via VoLTE.5 gigabits
Bluetooth 4.7A Dual Battery (15,000 mAh).
How much bandwidth does Home 5G have? Home 5G's high-speed speeds are: Low-Latency Mode: up to 3 ms. High-Data Mode: up to 1.9 Mbps For more information about Home 5G, you can visit: Are there any limitations with Home 5G? T-Mobile works with most wireless carriers to offer a single T-Mobile Account Number. The account number remains the same regardless of what T-Mobile account is used to make a purchase, even if you are using a customer service representative or another device on our network to call the customer care center.
What is the monthly cost of T-Mobile internet?
I want to know what it costs for unlimited internet on T-Mobile.
I have the 16GB plan with the unlimited data but I'm not sure if it's unlimited or throttled after that. Thanks.
What's the monthly cost? Thanks. The best part of it is you can use data as much as you want as long as you keep it under 2Gig. As long as you don't use up more than 2Gig of data, they don't slow your internet speed. But if you do use it, they will throttle your speeds. That's the price. If you want to know if they throttle or not, I don't think they throttle, but I'm not sure. If you want to go over 2Gig, they'll slow your speeds. They don't throttle anything if you keep your data usage below 2Gig.
But they won't throttle anything if you use more than 2Gig of data, unless you go over your limit. So I think it's fine.
You pay the full price for unlimited data regardless of how much you use. They are not going to throttle you and you can use as much data as you want.
What is the downside of T-Mobile internet?
T-Mobile.
Com I'm sure there is a downside to T-Mobile but I want to know if it's noticeable or not. I also want to know if there's any other alternatives to them on my area. If I could I'd like to just get the cheapest plan and not spend the hours searching for the best deal. I don't have a lot of bills so that means not really paying anything extra for the internet.
Thanks. One of the many things I like about t-mobile is that they have their own "custom" websites where you can shop for plans and services. I can get the same plan that I get from T-Mobile.com at no additional cost if I purchase online.
Here are the top reasons why you should choose T-Mobile instead of Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and all the other carriers. We don't believe in the Biggest Cell Phone Company model (AT&T / Verizon / Sprint) - We only believe in the Customer is King model (T-Mobile / Alltel / Centurylink). We love small business customers because they help us pay for giving great customer service (T-Mobile has the highest percentage of small businesses as a percentage of total account activations compared to all U. Wireless carriers, and we love doing business with them). Over 60% of the time when a small business tells me they have a major competitor, I tell them not to worry because T-Mobile offers more devices at lower prices than any carrier (in over 400,000 locations nationwide). You just take your POS terminal to a T-Mobile store to buy a new phone and you don't have to talk to anyone, ever again. (No salesperson, no bill at end of month). I LOVE that! We're the ONLY national wireless carrier that has been accredited every year since 1993 by BBB (as of June 2009)! - We give back to the community.
