Who started the See Something Say Something campaign?

What is the see something say something rule?

What do you say when you see someone doing something wrong?

Do you tell them or just watch? Or maybe you say something and then watch. Is there a see something, say something rule? I have two dogs. They are both smart. We both know they don't want us to be angry with them for doing what they did.

But what happens when we get really upset? If they see us mad at them, they will try to make it right. What do we do? Should we teach them how to be right? What if they do the wrong thing again? If they do that what should we do? Do we hit them? If we do, what is the proper punishment? Should we just let them off the hook? Is there a rule about what to do? I guess I never thought about this one before. I have been trying to teach my dogs to go into their crate when I want them to, but they never seem to understand. One of them has been a little more stubborn than the other, and I am getting worried about her.

This is what happened last night. I had taken the dogs out at around 6:00 pm, and they both went into their crates. About half an hour later, I called them. They didn't respond to me. I walked over to the crate and saw them sleeping. When I pulled them out, they both came to me. But one was still sleeping in the crate. I shook them hard. She woke up. But the other one didn't wake up until I started calling her. She seems fine now. But I am afraid she will not listen next time.

Do you think the answer is to let them off the hook? Do you think they could learn to go into their crates on their own? What would you do? It's the end of the day. There is still something in the house. I am ready for bed. I am tired.

You know that feeling when you just want to crawl into bed and sleep for a few hours? I know that feeling. I do that sometimes too. This is where I am at now. I am really tired.

I could not stay awake all day. I got up and got something done. Then I came home and ate something, and put the kids to bed.

Is the see something say something campaign effective?

I am having trouble finding much information on this.

It's just so new.

For example, how far out are most people? If the campaign is going to be as effective as we hope at every level of our society and among our elected officials, it is important that we don't allow the campaign to reach the point where it becomes embarrassing for those at the bottom who feel they have to comply or look weak by not complying with the laws. How low does the campaign have to go before enough people understand the message? I know that I can't do more than I have done. In our community, my only concern is that I don't embarrass my community; that I don't get someone to call the police on me for wearing a flag in public. That doesn't necessarily mean that they don't want it to happen. My flag-waving has not stopped since 2025. And if I am going to keep wearing the flag that it deserves the protection of law, I want to do the right thing.

But my fellow citizens can feel intimidated. I worry that someone will call a cop.

Let's say I was going down one block away from where I live now and started passing out copies of the campaign. Should I stop, because you might get embarrassed? Should we make it illegal to call the police on people for wearing the flag? If it's the last thing I ever do. I'm glad that I am no longer subject to that sort of ridiculous nonsense. (The above being spoken of in a sarcastic manner) I've gotten over it.

Let's talk the situation out: if we're all willing to do the right thing, then we don't need to police anyone, it doesn't become "embarrassing," and no one who's doing nothing wrong will feel embarrassed or intimidated. I'd be very willing to sign an "anti-harassment" pledge from the top down to prevent any harassment, not just of the sign floggers but just plain harassment, and to punish anyone who makes any attempt to do anything at all to prevent me from walking up that street to give out these books. No one would dare to do anything like that if everyone knew that would make the whole campaign unworkable because so many of them were not signing my book.

But in this situation, I don't think it's likely.

Who started the See Something Say Something campaign?

See Something Say Something (SSSM) was started by Paul G. Allen and Sandy Allen, as a campaign to spread the word about the dangers of human trafficking. They felt that they needed to get the public's attention.

How can individuals be helpful? Many people feel empowered and motivated by seeing the work being done against human trafficking, and are eager to join the crusade. However, they don't realize all that they need to do to stop this abuse. In this case, they can call the National Human Trafficking Hotline, or check in at a safe place. We'll cover how they can find help and how to use their voice to make a difference for those who have been trafficked.

What if I've heard of the issues? Do I need to sign up for anything? If you've seen or heard about trafficking, great! Whether you read about it in your Facebook feed, a friend's Facebook feed, in the news, or on any number of other forums, chances are, you're not alone. This is why we wanted to give a big shout out to the news outlets like CNN, Huffington Post, The New York Times, and ABC News who cover human trafficking -- as well as the groups who help in the prevention and rescue efforts. They truly make a difference for those who have been trafficked. If you want to know how you can volunteer or contribute to these efforts, please read on!

Can I talk to someone on the hotline? We are currently working on building the national database, which means we will only take calls from people that we match with someone on the hotline, because we don't want to make anyone wait on hold longer than they have to! If you are able to call in and we have an identified caller, we can transfer them straight to the team that works on the particular area, and then on to the next caller. In some cases, we might also put you through to a local support hotline. In either of these situations, you will still be able to speak to a counselor and you may want to mention how you know someone who's been trafficked, because some counselors will better equipped to help you when that happens.

When will I get a response?
