What is MySudo used for?

I want to learn about MySudo to see if I want to add this feature to my site.

I've been able to successfully setup both the API and the HTML Form for my site. So, I now know that it works with my particular URL, and I'm trying to learn more about it to make sure that this addition won't make the rest of my site unusable.

If I were to use this tool, how will it affect the users of my site? Will they be able to register for an account, view their profile information, etc? Will I be able to customize the tool to use specific features of my website, such as a registration screen, or maybe a log-in area in a specific location on the site? The other question I have is what exactly is the "MySudo" function. I believe I know that this stands for Multi-Source Domain. If that's the case, how does this fit into a single log-in area? Does this need to be added to my own login page, or does it just happen within one of the areas that the multi-source domain feature provides? What about all these different login options in the image below that I can create? Which one should I use?

If I decide to use the "MySudo" module feature, should I start building that into my site from scratch or do I first want to get my hands dirty (as so many developers say)? For now, I would want to keep it simple because this is just an educational site, but if I did eventually start building out a version to be called mysudo.com, I would have my own domain.

So, in order to implement the multi-site login using a specific URL one of the sites in my network, will I actually be implementing the login for two different websites one url? Can I only call one page, but have multiple sites with multiple users on this login page? In general, MySudo seems to be for a lot more than just logging into a site. Is that correct? Can someone please explain to me exactly what this tool is meant to do? I find it hard to imagine this feature being used on a site that is actually a place to build contacts, rather than merely for personal purposes, like a blog, or a website where you are just looking to chat with others.
