How do I watch MLB games on my iPhone?

Is MLB.TV free with Amazon Prime?

I've signed up for a Amazon Prime membership, and apparently there are discounts on MLB.

TV. If I sign up through Amazon, will I get access to the MLB.TV service at no extra cost?

If you're using Amazon, they'll be your official source of MLB.TV; all the usual subscription options are shown on their website (the 30-day subscription is the cheapest option and includes the postseason), but you can also get a year of access and stream it directly from your computer. I just confirmed that it's free with Prime (the Add Everything option on the site). Of course, I won't be trying it until after the playoffs this year, so I don't know if the playoffs get added by default or not.

To confirm with others: do you have to be an Amazon Prime member in order to get free MLB.TV access through the Amazon site? One thing I just noticed is that when I went to the main MLB.TV page through Amazon, it said Watch Live during the pre-game between the Reds and Braves. So I decided to sign up for a free MLB.TV membership and see what it looked like once the game was over.

When I signed up, Amazon said Watch Now during the first baseball game I clicked, but that disappeared immediately after the ball was pitched. It returned at the 3rd inning stretch, showing the first game between Cleveland and Minnesota. Maybe they added the Watch Now feature in response to your complaints.

That's odd that your screenshot shows Watch Live - I never get that. Did the game finish before the window opened? I have yet to actually use this, but I was curious if anyone was watching live.

I'm very happy to see that this is indeed coming true. I thought this whole idea was BS, but I can't believe my wish has come true. Good job, Joe!

This could make me reconsider going out on TV and playing cards. I was thinking about doing the latter because one of the reasons I bought this league last year was because everyone else does them on TV. We have enough video games and computer games already and it seems a huge waste to get ESPN when I could simply do it with Netflix instead.

We're here to help

Major League Baseball (MLB) wants you to be a regular visitor to its site. It wants you to love your teams and players as much as they love theirs. It wants you to be part of the MLB family. It even wants you to have an MLB app to help you get to know your teams better. But it doesn't want to share its data with your other mobile apps. That's not what it does.

That's not how you watch sports on a smartphone, however. You do it in one of the many third-party apps that are available to stream the games. It's a confusing setup, to say the least, but there's only one solution for iPhone users to get the most out of MLB's website and all of those broadcasts: MLB TV.

MLB.tv has been around for years It's no surprise that MLB has its own app, of course. MLB TV has been available for iPhones since 2025, and it's worked great since. It works with multiple mobile providers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Cricket. It's simple, too like something that's already tried and tested.

On the first day I tried using MLB TV on the iPhone, I downloaded it from the App Store and then connected to my provider of choice. Once I was set up, I simply chose one of the many games being broadcasted, opened it on MLB.tv, and away went.

The app also doesn't force me to pay the annual subscription fee before I can use its streaming service. I don't mind that because I didn't come here to watch live baseball and pay to access anything in between. And there's also no limit to how many devices I can use for MLB.tv, so it can keep up and be on standby at all times.

If you want to know what I think, I'd say it does its job, and then some. If I didn't need access to an array of other features, I'd definitely come back to MLB TV again and again.

I think most of my issues with this app are a few quirks and a couple of minor inconveniences that prevent me from reaching the next level. The main thing that bugs me is how the app works with Apple Music.

The process of choosing from the MLB.

Are all MLB games on Apple TV free?

Yes.

Most MLB games on Apple TV are free of charge.

If you have any questions or problems, you may ask an owner via the email. It's a long process but you'll have your answer right away. Thanks for your understanding.

No, as we do not have the rights to stream games through Apple TV. Our service is entirely fan based. This enables us to do this legally. There is very little money to be made in baseball and our revenue comes from sponsorship fees and advertising which makes it completely fair to both teams and sponsors. We have no connection to players and other club staff members.
