Who are the top 10 putters on tour?

We're breaking down the top 10 putters on tour to find out who has the most putts in their bag. The list includes the top 50 on the Official World Golf Ranking and includes putters from the last 30 years.

The best players have a low putting average and a high number of putts per round. Here's a breakdown of the best putters on tour.

This is not an attempt to be objective. This is an attempt to explain why some people putt well and others do not. I'm going to break down the top 10 based on putting stats, the quality of their misses, and what I consider their biggest strength or weakness.

The goal is to help you understand how to improve your putting. What is a putting statistic? A putting statistic is a calculation that uses a player's putting statistics and scores to determine his/her putting ability. Putting statistics can be found on the PGA Tour website, which include: Average putting distance. Number of putts per round. Putting percentage. Putting accuracy. The numbers above are adjusted for a player's course, hole type, and conditions, with a lower number being better. A player's putting statistics are adjusted for par.

What is the quality of a miss? Quality of a miss is how much a player has to work to get back to the hole. A miss is defined as any shot that does not get the ball back into the hole. A miss is either a "drop" or a "push."

A drop occurs when the player hits the ball on the wrong line and the ball falls out of bounds. A drop is not a bad shot because it is the player's fault.

A push occurs when the player hits the ball right on the line but the ball is stopped by another object on the green, such as the cup, a bunker, a tree, or a hazard. A player's ability to make a putt is heavily influenced by how good his/her misses are. The quality of a miss is ranked on a scale of 0 to 100. The higher the number, the better the quality of miss.

The average quality of miss for the top 10 putters on tour is around 40, with the best of them having an average of around 20.

Who owns SeeMore putters?

SeeMore's RX line of putters is manufactured by a company called R2 Sports in China. If you want to learn more about that, you can either search for information on Google or visit R2 Sports' website. We decided to take a closer look at the R2 Sports web presence and discover a wealth of intriguing information, and some interesting contradictions.

It turns out that R2 Sports is owned by SeeMore USA, which was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Carlsbad, California. But the R2 Sports website tells a different story. To begin with, this company was founded as a Chinese manufacturer in 2023 and was based in Suzhou. It states on its website that it is a high precision injection molding and processing technology company. In an effort to get to the bottom of the story, we looked at their social media profiles.

SeeMore's Instagram account had several hashtags like #putt, #champ, #r2sports and #putter. All these indicate that the company was active on Instagram and was providing content to the public. However, it seems that R2 Sports didn't exist before 2023, according to its previous social media profiles. So where did it come from?

The only answer we could find was that R2 Sports is a registered trademark name that was first filed in 2023 and assigned to Shenzhen R2 Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (as seen on the USPTO database).

After a bit of back and forth, we were able to contact a Mr. Jia Tian (the man in the middle), who explained that he and his partner, Mr. Wang Zhiying, purchased the rights to use the name and associated logo from the original Suzhou-based company. He also confirmed that they now manufacture the products under SeeMore's brand.

In that same time period, the Suzhou-based company began doing business under the name R2 Sports, which appears on a couple of company websites: R2 Sports website (last updated August 8, 2016). R2 Sports website (last updated February 7, 2017). So what are R2 Sports' putters like?

Do any tour players use SeeMore putters?

I'm curious because it seems that the pros like them and there is talk of them being put in play. Do any pros use them? I'm a lefty but I do prefer righties and my friend has two righties which have seen some success with him. I'm curious if any tour players use them and how they perform.

There have been a few putters created which have similar performance characteristics to the SeeMore. The problem with the SeeMore is that it is not legal. I don't know if that has changed since it was patented but it hasn't been made legal for a while now. If you look on the current PGA Tour schedule it is not on the list of approved putters and I would assume that the manufacturers are not selling them on tour.

It's a little strange that tour players use it, but I guess some of them do, and there have been putters with similar characteristics. I don't know why they've never been banned. I'll be interested to see how it does when I try it out this week.

I can't even get my hands on the first half of my box. How much more will they cost? Do they also sell golf shoes? Golf clubs? All I want to know is who is behind this ridiculous business of buying a putter. There must be a market for it somewhere, no? It is obvious that people will pay for putters, but what about people who just want to putt. I will never spend that kind of money on a putter. I will look into buying one to give it a try though. If they are that good, I may not have to.
