Is Google Workspace the same as Microsoft Office?

What is the difference between Gmail and Google Workspace?

I'm reading a lot of reviews on the Amazon Kindle Fire and have noticed that many reviewers have noted that there are two apps for the Kindle Fire, one called Google Workspace and the other named Gmail.

What's the difference between them? What does the "Workspace" title mean? And, what does the "Google" in the name mean? ? The only difference between Gmail and Google Workspace is that Workspace is free and Gmail isn't. The difference between Workspace and Gmail are the same as they are between Office 365 and Outlook: if you don't want to pay for something you don't need to pay for it.

Both are pretty much just gmail in a smaller form factor with a few differences. I believe the main one is the ability to reply to messages from the app itself which is handy for someone who has a phone but doesn't have the time to pull their phone out of their bag. Workspace does not currently work with Gmail or Hangouts.

Is Google Workspace the same as Microsoft Office?

I was told that Google Office works the same as Microsoft Office but I haven't had a chance to use it.

Does anyone know if it is the same as Microsoft Office? I mean, is it capable of all the features MS Office can do? Re: Google Workspace the same as Microsoft Office? I was just wondering about Google's new workspace, and how it stacks up against Office 365. One of my clients is a non-technical business owner, who has never used office 365 (which I'm actually surprised she doesn't already have), and so I went out of my way to try to explain to her how Google's office stack up against Office 365. I'm not sure I made it very clear, but you can try it out here:
Just to summarize:Google offers a "desktop-first" approach to online productivity tools in the form of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms, combined with Web Apps that take advantage of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and HTML5 canvas technologies.Google's focus on providing these tools on the desktop is consistent with its business strategy of being the default choice for desktop applications, whether they are built internally or externally. In other words, Google is trying to build something that is comparable to what Office 365 has built. The question is whether it succeeds.

Microsoft started doing this with OneNote a while back and now we see the result in Office 365.
