Can you find a Wi-Fi password on your Iphone?
(you may also read: "How can I find my wi-fi password for my iphone 4?"). Hi, guys. I have the latest iPhone version 2.0 and i'm trying to find out what I'm doing wrong. (And don't blame me for any troubles i'm creating with my Iphone!)
There is no wi-fi password in settings because it is set as automatic when connected, but this password must exist. I got many suggestions from forums, like reseting Network & Passwords or erase all data from settings. But none of these are working or are giving me a new "password" because there's nothing to find.
So, can you help me find it? (Yes, I'm desperate. And please don't tell me it's the only way to get rid of my "iphone troubles") Thank you! The question might be difficult to answer since nobody else knows your Wi-Fi settings and password. But, perhaps when you connected you typed your password by mistake. (It is sometimes necessary to press your finger on the top of the phone as you connect and it will take some time to connect) If so, simply deleting the Wi-Fi password should fix the issue. Good luck!
You are correct - there is no wifi password stored on the phone. If you have set the passcode for wireless connectivity to 'off', then it will not keep the passcode, and the 'off' state will indicate no passcode has been used in the last 7 days. Hope this helps.

How can you get free Wi-Fi?
If you have an Android phone, then you probably know that the Wi-Fi hotspot feature is included with the operating system.
For those of you who want a little more control over your Wi-Fi hotspot and are not willing to pay for extra services, there are some cool ways to get free Wi-Fi.
You need an Android phone. There are a number of apps that allow you to get free Wi-Fi.e. One of the best known apps is Wifi Tether (Android Only) which lets you share your mobile data with your computer, so your phone can stay connected for as long as it needs without draining your data plan. In addition to Wifi Tether, there are also several third-party apps for Android that have Wi-Fi tether capabilities. The options include the aptly named "Free Wi-Fi Finder" and "Wi-Fi HotSpot Creator". I personally love the Free Wi-Fi Finder. It shows you a list of your current networks and what their security settings are. If you click on a network, it will tell you how far away it is from you, how strong the signal is, how much data it uses, and if there are any nearby Wi-Fi access points. With it, you don't have to waste time roaming around to try to find a usable Wi-Fi network.
You can also get free Wi-Fi with your computer, either through a network cable or wirelessly. Here are a couple of ways to accomplish this: AirDroid - This app gives you two ways to turn on free Wi-Fi.e. First, you can get it from within your Android phone and it's easy enough to set up. However, it is limited by the fact that it only works with 3G and less secure networks (if you have a limited data plan). You can also use the app to connect to other devices that use Wi-Fi through your Android phone. This is good for making calls to other devices or for connecting your tablet to a printer or some other computer through your phone.
Wifi Protected Setup - This is an easy way to create a secure network on your computer through your Android phone. There are a number of ways you can do this, but here is a quick rundown of how to get started: The first thing you do is create an ad hoc wireless network using your computer.
Where can I find my Wi-Fi password?
I am looking for a list of known Wi-Fi hotspots that have a password.
In Android M, this information can be found in the Wi-Fi security settings screen. Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi Security > Passwords & Passphrases. For any network with a WPA2 security password, it will show a lock icon. For any network with WPA2 security, but no password (a. PSK only), it will show a key icon.
If there is no password or security, then it will show no icon. Here is a screenshot of an encrypted network which has no security password.
