Why is PureVPN not opening?
When we try to launch the software from our main account or sign in to the web interface, our device seems to get stuck at an endless reboot loop.
The browser will just hang and keep reloading forever.
What to do if this happens? The first thing you should do is try to re-open the browser, perhaps you have closed it in the background (we don't recommend it). If this doesn't help, you can try to: Remove all cookies and other saved data. Make sure all extensions are closed. Make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date. Check that you have all available updates for your device. Check that there is enough space left on your disk. How do I fix my VPN connection problem?
This will help you with configuring OpenVPN 2.
0 on Windows Server 8 or Windows Server 2025 R2. The instructions are provided by the project authors (Michael Kjellman, Christian Wolf, and Michael Cramer).
I recently setup 2 vpn servers behind a corporate firewall. They were both on static IP addresses on the 172.16 range. I assigned them each a local ip address from the 192.168.0 / 16 network range. When I go into network and sharing I have 2 options for the VPN and I choose Allow management operating systems to connect to this network resource. I selected both from DHCP enabled networks and from NAT type gateways and I don't see anything else wrong with it.
In windows explorer I can see network drives on both the vpn server and local computers however in file and folder properties of the shares they cannot connect to the server. Any thoughts? The share is the same on both the server and the two vpns at the office.
First, there are two possible problems with your setup: DNS/Proxy issue or incorrect IPSec crypto keys. The steps described below will help you distinguish between these two cases. We will attempt to explain our reasoning in each case:
Problem - DNS Error. Possible case scenario: a) The connection is to another domain and the DNS server does not have a correct record set. Possible solution: Look for any errors in "Event Viewer" to see if DNS has errors during the connection. You can find "errors" when Windows communicates with the DNS server. If you see any such event, there might be an error somewhere.
More information about DNS issues in WinXP. Problem - Incorrect IPSec crypto keys. Possible case scenario: b) The VPN is behind a firewall that protects access to the IPSec key exchange. Possible solution: Look for any errors in "Event Viewer" to see if IPSec has errors during the connection. You can find "errors" when Windows communicates with the IPSec server.
